HoneyGuaridan W25 Smart Automatic Pet Water Fountain Dispenser with infrared induction, designed for Dogs and Cats

My dog does not like still water so I went searching for a similar product. After reading many reviews I decided to purchase this item. I was slightly shocked on how small the item was (holds about a half gallon), but it's a perfect size for my Chesapeake Bay Retriever. No splashing like drinking out of a traditional bowl and the motion sensor is my favorite feature. The pump is audible but tolerable, it's a pump I didn't expect it to be silent.I would definitely purchase again.

We loved it when we first got it and so did my cat. But after a few days, it would just turn off. We would turn it back on, and it would stay on for awhile, and then shut down completely again. We are afraid that our cat would be left without water at all when we are away, so we are returning it. We ordered a second one thinking the first one was a fluke - nope, second one wouldn't work at all. Don't waste your money on this.

The fountain works well, but has a few flaws. 1) If the power goes out, the fountain turns off and does not come back on, so you need to make sure you have a backup water supply. 2) It uses a micro usb charger, which is convenient because they are easy to replace. However, those cables and ports notoriously do not hold up well for long periods of time. I've had my fountain for less than six months and the cable has already stopped working. I am using another cable, but if it gets bumped in the slightest way, it turns off; and I don't always realize that has happened. 3) There is no cover for the port, so when you are washing the bottom part of the fountain, you have to be very careful to not get any water in it, which often happens. This will eventually lead to the fountain not working. 4) The water flow is not adjustable. This isn't a major flaw, but of note.Otherwise, I like everything else about the fountain. It's easy to clean I chose this fountain over others because it has an intermittent feature so it doesn't run all the time. It took my cat a while to get used to it, but she drinks more because of the fountain.With the flaws it has, I would not re-purchase this fountain until those issues are corrected.

So far, now that I have returned one and received the ordered the replacement, I can give this product an excellent review. It has all the features that make it easy to provide our pets with an electric pump water dish. The first one that I ordered arrived without a manual for directions and maintenance, missing one foot, and poorly packaged. This pump arrived in perfect condition with a manual. It has worked on blue light setting beautifully, for three days now and hope it lasts. Wondering where to order a replacement pump when the time comes. Lastly, the Amazon ad for this products states that the plastic is food grade. Nowhere on the box nor the product is there a single reference that supports the "food grade" statement. I believe all customers would appreciate receiving that assurance on the package and in the manual. I have a kitty with kidney failure and it would be very reassuring to know that the plastic is not toxic. Thus the four stars instead of five.

Sensor broke after 3 month under normal use.It works couple tiems and it just shut off. I need to turn it on again manually.If I set it for continues flow, it stays. Too bad because I really liked this fountain has sensor.

I have been searching for a cat water bowl for a long time. First, we had a plastic water jug water bowl with the inverted bottle, but because the water sits stagnant my cat was not interested and the water became stale fast. Then I tried the Catini water fountain but our cat didn't care for the tiny waterfall stream, and I did not like that it ran continuously. This water fountain is the perfect combination! When set on the sensor mode our cat can trigger the fountain and he took to it right away. If I want to have it on all the time I can set it to that mode, and the sensor will turn red when the water level is too low (great feature). I was a bit skeptical of this fountain at first because of the description as it's obvious it was written in China by someone who does not know english and the instructions are written simillarly, but so far this fountain has been great.

This product seems like a great idea but unfortunately it is defective. Mine stopped working after a couple days. I contacted the company and they were quick to send me another one free of charge. Unfortunately, that one didn’t work from the start. When I contacted the company again they admitted the product was defective and refunded by money. The company was easy to work with a very responsive but they should not be selling a defective product.

I bought mine back in October of 2017. I loved it! Until recently. I was only having to change the filter & do a deep cleaning on it once a month, which I think is reasonable. My dog loved it & it got her to drink more water, which was why I had purchased this because she had developed bladder stones that required surgery. So it did the job...but only for 6 months. At about the 5th month mark, I started noticing that the water wouldn't drain from the top and go back down into the reservoir like it had been. I replaced the filter, thinking it was a fluke with the filter. After putting in the new filter, it still did the same, but was otherwise, functioning like normal. I couldn't find any obvious blockage or issues, so just left it alone. Then today I noticed the blue light for the motion detector was on, but it didn't start putting out water. I changed it to all the other settings and still nothing. No water would come out. I unplugged it to investigate. Couldn't see any obvious issues. Plugged it back in, and now it won't come on at all. No light or anything, it's dead. So unfortunately, back to the drawing board for another water dispenser. I can't say the product was horrible, because it did work beautifully for about 5-6 months so. I'd just rather have a product that would last a little longer than this, but the price wasn't too high so I guess you get what you pay for.
