HP Pavilion 15-ba009dx New Replacement LCD Screen for Laptop LED HD Glossy

There were a couple of marks and things on the screen that worried me at first, but once I put it together it worked great. In fact I think the picture is clearer than the original one. As you can see in the pics there was a square mark that could be seen on an angle but did not show up once attached. The one corner tab where I screw the screen to the frame was bent but was still able to screw it in. Did not dare try and unbend it. Also seen on the screen was a number 15, but again does not show when computer on. Last there was a piece of tape on the lower right. I thought it should be removed and went about it slowly but did not like how it pulled the screen so stopped right away and left it on. When computer on you can barely see it so leave it alone. As mentioned the pic quality is great. My computer is running very slow but I think it is cause the battery needs to be fully charged. Once it is I will go through and deffrangment and do my c cleaner , remove old history and she should be ready to go. Very pleased and should have this lap top for another year or more I hope. It is 2 years old so far and holding up well for what I use it for.UPDate: The screen is doing good. No problems. Working fine. Yay

This screen arrived promptly and well packaged except that the box wasn't taped, just folded together. The screen was easy to replace but has one defective pixel, as shown in my sorry excuse for a photo. My daughter, however, is ecstatic to have her laptop back and says the defective pixel won't bother her excessively. If not for the one defective pixel, this would be a 5 star review.

Replacement is simple but the new pin connector is a tighter fit. I thought it was all the way in the first two times (I was wearing my glasses) I fired it up and thought the screen was DOA. I reconnected the damaged screen and saw it was snugged up, no space. The new connector needed a little more force to get the right side all the way snugged up. I am sure the Geeks would charge you $200 for 10 minutes of work. Perfect replacement.

The screen has a beautiful view just the only thing about it had one dead pixel but other than that everything is great

Old laptop was revived with this screen and a SSD. Screen works with brightness settings, sleep/hibernate/power save mode for Windows OS. Laptop screen is still going strong after years of abuse and the backpack of a college student.

When I first got the screen and installed it, there was a little bright spot on the right bottom corner. But that did not bother me that much so I did not return it. From that spot it started to have some horizontal lane on the bottom for a while, and then all of a sudden the whole screen is like that.

Arrived almost a week before projected date. Very well protected in package and in pristine condition. Easy to replace old screen following directions found on youtube.. I couldn't be happier. And it saved me over $200 from quotes I got from 3 different repair options including where I originally purchased my laptop. I would recommend this company to everyone who needs replacement pc parts.
