I got these to up the protein content of my 3 pm work snack. I hate the taste of artificial sweeteners, so a lot of protein bars are 🤢 to me; these use lower amounts of actual sugar, though, and the taste is great! (And no weird aftertaste.) The texture is interesting; it's kinda like a very soft version of Airheads? Or those jujube nougat things? It's satisfying to chew. The chocolate coating tastes good. My variety box seems fresh, though I would suggest that people maybe order only in the cooler months. Some of mine were partly melted and squashed. It didn't affect the taste at all, I'm happy to say. I think this is going to be a very useful addition to my treat roster. ETA: the coconut bars are revoltingly bad. Like, take-a-bite, spit-it-out, throw-the-rest-of-the-bar-in-the trash bad. Every other flavor was yummy, though!

When I opened the inner box, I found a third of the bars were squashed. I don't know how or why. I do appreciate it has nearly a year on the use by date. That is rare on things that I order from Amazon. I tried a chocolate strawberry one. It was decent. There were more flavors in here than I expected. The box itself doesn't say anything about what flavors are in it. Oddly enough. I have peanut butter cup, strawberry and cream, coconut, cookie dough, chunk, brownie batter and cookies and cream. I have also tried the cookies and cream, cookie dough, chunk, and brownie batter and liked all of those quite well. I am quite sure I'll love the peanut butter cup one and the coconut one will probably be good too. So I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I have tried quite a few different protein bars from different brands, and types and mostly I've never liked of them. I can see myself buying the Built Puff again. I bought a box of these at Walmart once, but they were all a blue raspberry flavor without chocolate. So these are quite different with the chocolate.
