These came exactly as advertised and are a great looking and functional alternative to classic ceiling hooks!

I bought these to hang a lamp that I made for my granddaughter’s guest room. I hate loose cords, especially in a toddler’s room & I wanted the lamp on one side of the room, but the switch outlet was on the other side. These helped to keep the cord looking neat & simple. They hold the cord tight, so it doesn’t droop down. The only flaw was the threads aren’t smooth, so they’re a little difficult to screw together. I’d buy them again unless I could find a better quality design.

I just made a little starter hole for the plastic molly, pushed it in with light taps from a hammer, and screwed in the hook. Easy. Just make sure your cord will fit.

The hooks are plenty sturdy when put in place, but the cap can be a real pain to get on with thicker diameter cable. I used a 6mm diameter HDMI, it fit, but only just, and the little cap dug into the insulation on the cable.
