IMAKSmart Glove With Thumb Support Small (Pack of 2)

I've been using IMAK Smart gloves for years. I don't have carpel tunnel, my wrist is fused (no wrist movement at all) and has arthritis from the multiple surgeries . The glove is supportive, fits snugly and has removeable soft splints, if not needed. It also has This one has a thumb support also which helps keep my thumb from moving too much. It also has a Bead-filled wrist pad which cushions when typing or writing or other activities. I've used almost every brand of support over the last 20 years, this is my favorite and best in my opinion.Only downside, it has increase in price quite a bit and is harder to find.

I bought these gloves hoping that they would provide the compression and support that I need for my wrists and the proximal joints of my thumbs while working on the computer. I have hypermobility and have developed repetetive motion issues in both thumbs/wrists. Perhaps if I had tried these gloves before the issue started I could've prevented the problem, but they don't do much to help with it now. The "supports" are too flexible and the fabric, though snug, does not provide any sense of compression.I also think it would be nice to have a dedicated right and left glove, instead of having to turn one glove inside-out to wear on the left hand. This exposes the insertion points for the thumb supports and makes the glove look unfinished. I'm sure the supports are probably more likely to slip out when the glove is turned inside-out.

Love that you get 2 of these in a pack. They work great for Mountain Biking where I have the most trouble with my hands. Of course they are also good for typing and general house work. The only thing I would like to see changed or offered on these would be another support in the underside of the glove for your wrist. Not much support for the thumb. I bought small, but it's a little too loose. Beanbag padding is a nice feature. Maybe on a larger hand will be fine

I was told to wear a splint or brace due to carpal tunnel & thumb issues. I could not sleep with the massive stiff braces. This brace offers moderate support but is soft. It does not rub on my wrist bone as the other did. There is some flexibility with it. If you need rigid support this is not the one for you. This is washable, is a soft fabric that is absorbent, & is comfortable. I would recommend unless you must not use your hand at all.

Really protects the hand and wrist and helps my arthritis when on the computer all day at work.

At first the glove appeared to be too loose and the thumb support seemed a little weak. However, after wearing them two weeks now, I am sold! My hands no longer hurt during the day. However, as soon as I take them off, the thumb (without support) begins aching. I wish I had found these a long time agoo -- should be required safety equipment for those who work with computers all day!

This is a GREAT glove but is more for wrist support. SMARTGLOVE WITH FLEXIBLE THUMB SOPPORT has enough cush at bottom of thumb and Is more for just the thumb. This thumb is longer but wrist has much more little bean padding.
