TL1

I have used this watch five rounds so far. I used to use the galaxy watch 6 classic after I installed the golf app to it. Therefore, the main comparison will be to the galaxy watch 6. The design of VC T11 pro seems a bit monotonous compared to the GW 6, but I used this only for the golf so it is not a big deal for me. The overall battery life seems somewhat comparable to each other. If you keep turning the golf app, both will die in a day or less. As this is for the golf, the most important thing should be how much this machine can help your rounding. In conclusion, VC T11 seems to be a winner. Initializing time seems shorter than GW6 as it detects the course automatically. Both seems to be working relatively accurately. Whenever I played, I carried Bushnell Tour V5 shift so I could check the accuracy of both. The best parts of this watch is the graphical presentation of the course. Once you move to the next hole, it presents the overall view of the course from the tee box to the green, including the distance to a number of hazard area such as bunker and water. You can also check the distance to the hazard area from where you play by pressing the spot on the screen. Once you arrive at the green, you can find the overall slope and distance to the hole. Actually, this is the feature I like best. This was really helpful especially in case I was not familiar with the green. If you play golf this might be the best choice, even I wear GW6 for other activities or normal life.

My nephew works for the parks and rec this summer and started picking up golf since the city runs a golf course. He knew I would be visiting and wanted to show what skills he had acquire and book a tee time for us as surprised. Well I showed up expecting do everything else but golf, so no watch and no clubs. Luckily enough the municipal course had clubs we could borrow solving the club situation. I've also been eyeing the TL1 but I could never justify buying it, but now without a watch, prime shipping made sure I got it quickly. We're just mucking about and having fun on the course but it gave us plenty time to get a pretty good insight to the TL1. Just point and shot, literally. This thing locks on so fast it's almost instant. The color readout also makes it that much easier to pick up and and read. It also daylight bright, which is good thing since I seen some that were washed out . Also, the viewfinder is plenty bright compare to others I've seen. What's also nice is that it takes batteries, so no waiting for a charge. There is physical switch to turn slope/GPS off in the off chance that my nephew plays in a tournament. It's magnetic, meaning we we able to copy the image where finder was attached to club, usually it was attached to the cart. It may not have all the fancy bells and whistle but what it does do, it does it extremely well. I ended up gifting it to my nephew, not because I didn't liked it or didn't need it, but because my nephew picked up golf so that he could play a round with his uncle. That what I like to think anyways.

So far has been a great range finder. Kicked a top of the line vortex out of my bag. Love the dual colored screen, its bright and crisp, super easy to read. This thing also locks on flags faster than any other range finder I have used. Well worth it if you are looking for something new! The magnet is also super strong and this thing is built like a tank!

Voice Caddie TL1 Golf Range Finder is a pretty awesome device that every new & veteran golfers should own! It's a good size to carry around the course and feels sturdy. One of my favorite feature of this device is the built in magnet that you can attach/detach to the golf cart. Women don't always have a pocket on our outfit, so it's nice to be able to have a quick access. The OLED screen is bright & easy to see even in the sun and the vibration once locked is such a nice feature! It's incredibly quick & accurate, especially the new slope feature and I have definitely seen improvements since. I would recommending this to anyone trying to improve and/or as a nice gift to any avid golfers!

Amazing rangefinder. This is the best one I have used, and I recommend it.

I have now used this for 6-8 rounds and feel I can give a true review based on consistent actual use. The straight line measurements are fine - it works just like every other rangefinder. I do not trust the slope measurements at all. Our course has a steep downhill par 3. I can stand on the tee box, take 3 different measurements, and get 3 different results - that vary by as much as 7 yards. I have simultaneously used a Bushnell and the Bushnell gives consistent readings - and in my opinion is more accurate. I cannot recommend.

I have had all the devices with barometric pressure, temperature etc. and found them to be bothersome and not very helpful. This rangefinder has the basics of distance with a very bright and clear view finder. The yellow cover color choice is helpful as I was always forgetting the black one on the cart.

I had a cheaper Voice Caddie model previously which I liked, but lost. I had some gift cards and splurged to replace with this. The magnet works great on the cart and have yet to have it fall off the cart rail during a round. Yellow silicone case helps to protect, but also makes it highly visible and harder to lose on the course or leave behind. The slope/on off switch is super easy access to use. My favorite is the constrast green/red coloring when you shoot for reading the yardage as it makes the reading the yardage super clear.

A really well built piece of kit. The pouch though less conventional compared to the harder EVA moulded cases is still really well built. Silicone case holds up well, and Voice Caddie sell other colors too (at a price..) The quality and clarity of the screen is really good and holds up really well in low light conditions.
