Awesome Product!
I love this stuff ! It works great, but if you are just checking it out, I highly recommend doing the research. This particular type is made from Coconut fiber (least damaging, because it’s less abrasive than activated charcoal made from other materials), and Bentonite clay (binds to, and removes heavy metals and toxins, remineralizes teeth), so it’s an excellent choice. And you should leave it on your teeth for at least two minutes, to get the full benefits. But it is still abrasive, so after using it for a week or two, consecutively, you will want to then dial it back to once or twicea week. Even less, if you have increased sensitivity. But just having it on your teeth, even without the gentle brushing, is still helpful. I like to add it to my oil-pulling regimen. And I also like to occasionally add it to my face cleanser or mud mask, because it’s great for your skin. Just use extra moisturizer after, because it can be somewhat drying.

it does not have a gritty texture like i expected
i was pleasantly surprise at my results after using this for the past couple weeks. the results are not drastically noticeable right away but it did brighten my teeth after the first use. its odorless and tasteless. its a little bit messy but nothing unmanageable. it does not have a gritty texture like i expected, its a very fine soft light powder. the brushes are super super soft bristled but they work well with the powder. it did leave a little bit of black residue between a few front teeth but i just kept using the brush and rising my mouth out until it all came off. i felt no difference in teeth sensitivity which was one of my main concerns with using a product like this. i will keep using on occasion to keep my teeth bright.

This does NOT work as expected...read....
After 1st use, all bad. I expected good results based on reviews, but now I wonder if their reviews were bought with free samples like so many products on Amazon are. Here is my honest review after my FIRST use. Mind you I followed instructions.- My teeth IMMEDIATELY became VERY sensitive, all of them, which is not normal for me at all- There was zero noticeable affect, despite what some reviews say, that I SHOULD see some whitening after first use- I have a nasty metallic taste in my mouth, even after brushing normally again...wont go away. Kinda like when you put tin foil in your mouth?- Its an unbelievable mess, like WAY worse than I thought. I knew it WOULD be a mess, but holy crap....do it in the shower, and wash it away or itll stain your grout!Ill try using it a couple more times, but I have serious doubts...

Good powder crappy brushes
Arrived today and tried it for the first time. I can see why others complained it’s messy, it’s a very loose lightweight powder but if you are ready and careful it won’t make a mess. A little goes a long way. I was pleased with today’s results but will most like continue to use it every day for a week then once a week after that. Now, the brushes on the other hand are a piece of crap. After only one use I had multiple bristles fall out and one got stuck between my teeth.

This is an AWESOME deal at $3
This is an AWESOME deal at $3.50 . After my first use my teeht looked incredibly white! And not only did they look clean, they felt as if they had been flossed. The brushes that come with these feels great against your gums and both products together give a deep, deep clean. There are no instructions on the packaging, but you can put just a dab of powder on the bamboo brush, wet it a little and brush as you normally would. Do it before brushing your teeth w/ toothpaste twice a day. You only need a very small amount so this product should last for months. It really does work!

Might work but OMG, the MESS!
I can't say how effective this stuff is since I've only used it three times and I'm using bleaching trays as well, but I can say this stuff is terrible to use! Maybe I should have known. Maybe I should have read the instructions.... wait, it doesn't come with instructions. So there's that. But I can say it is the messiest stuff I have ever tried to use. It is a VERY FINE powder -- probably has to be, but geez, it gets everywhere! Don't even think about spilling it. It was bad enough when I realized that while I was brushing, little flecks were flying out all over my walls. And the sink! Oh well, it's good to clean the bathroom twice a day, right?Part of the problem was that without instructions I used much too much the first time. Even so, the mess is startling. So if you decide to try it, here are my learned-the-hard-way instructions (since none come with it) that help minimize the mess.1. Open the jar carefully (think bomb squad) and very carefully remove the inner tray.2. Put a small pinch of powder on top of the inner tray and put the tray back in the jar.3. Dampen your toothbrush (not too wet) and pick up bit of the powder from the tray. IMMEDIATELY put the lid back on the jar and screw down tight. (You really don't want to skip that step.)4. Brush your teeth. Take a moment to admire your black teeth and the black spit in the sink.5. Rinse, then brush your teeth with your regular toothpaste. If all of the black stuff around the gum line doesn't come off, don't panic, it will gradually disappear as you sleep.6. Clean sink. Clean sink top. Check walls and mirror for black flecks. (Helpful Hint: For long term use, consider painting your bathroom black, and go for black granite for your next vanity top. )7. If you ignored the advice in step three, or were startled, stumbled, or fainted and spilled some before you got the lid screwed down tight, don't panic. Use a damp (not wet) paper towel to clean it up. It will come up, eventually. It doesn't actually stain, it just gets into very small spaces so it's hard to get out. A lightly damp toothbrush works well for grout lines.I gave it two stars for the entertainment value -- when I first looked in the mirror while I was brushing, the black teeth effect was quite amusing. Reminded me of when my kids were little and I would casually go in to say good night wearing a mint green mud mask. Good times. :)
