This pad looks like the Therasage which costs much more. How does it compare?

Almost identical!! We love our heating pad! Works wonderfully!!

What size is this one. Does not state size anywhere. Would help to know.

I bought the medium sized pad with an outside dimension of 31 inches long by 21 inches wide. There is a 3 1/2 inch border on both sides and 4 1/2 inch border on the top and bottom. The USABLE AREA(with the Jade stones) is 21 inches by 13 inches wide. It is heavily constructed, such a device you would find at a physical therapy department in a hospital.

Is the plug from the controller to the pad easy to connect? Or does it take a muscle man? (New pad is no where near a tight fit. Defective?)

Can't remember how is was packaged, but nothing that alarmed me. The plug in the controller fits snug in our pad. We absolutely love our heating pad and will never go back to the conventional ones.
