Q: If I close the shutoff valve so the sprayer isn't always under pressure, will it also shut off water to the toilet tank?

No the shutoff value on the Sprayer only closes water flow to the Sprayer , even on shutoff valve closure water still continues to Flush Tank as usual, I have never closed shutoff value in last one year as there is no leakm if you are planning for some long trips and away from home you can shutoff , i only did once.This is very nice product i loved it and installed in all 4 bathrooms across my home.

Q: Is the water pressure adjustable? I imagine it would have to be gentle.

The water pressure is the same as the water pressure in the water line to fill the tank. My wife likes it and has never complained, and it is very easy to install. Hope this helps...sam

You need to hold the trigger down for the water to spray. The mechanism isn't too difficult to press but you may want to look at bidet attachments and electronic bidet seats as they may be a bit easier to operate.

Q: What are the dimensions of the T-valve adapter that comes with this kit?

Each dimension is 3", that is from input to output to toilet is 3" and on/off handle to output to hose is 3". This product works great and we could not do without it anymore. We turn valve on to wash and turn valve off when finished. Even the hanger bracket is well designed. Not one problem with anything.
