D.A.R.E Detectives: The Mystery on Lovett Lane (Dyslexia Font) (Dyslexia Reading Books for Kids Age 8-12)

This was my son's first chapter book (10 chapters). The dyslexia style was perfect for him (8) and myself (54) too. We are both dyslexic. The font style was a bit odd a first. But the major difference was the larger spacing between the sentences and then even larger spaces between the paragraphs.The story was pretty good, and kept his attention.He was really proud of himself when he finished is 1st chapter book, which he thought there would be NO WAY he could do it.My only wish is that whey would have put in a few more pictures to help with him imagining. I think there was only about really only one per chapter.

Great intro as well as the dyslexic font caught my son’s eye immediately. Haven’t finished the book yet to update on story.

Highly recommend to anyone with a dyslexic child. Easy read and it is already making her love reading so much more!

This book is too good and perfect for young readers, LOL! The D.A.R.E Detectives are very nosy and I laughed so hard when it was revealed what they were being nosy about! Hilarious!

My dyslexic eleven year old loves this book! He is reading it on his own. This is only the second time in his life he has chosen to read a book independently. I can tell how pleased he is to be reading like the rest of the family. He is asking for more books like this. I wish this were a series. I am looking into other dyslexia friendly books now.

My 14 year old granddaughter and her cousin love to solve so-called mysteries around the neighborhood. This was perfect for her.

Having a book my child can read even with dyslexia is something I never thought I would see! And the story is cute!!

My 9 year old daughter with dyslexia loved this book! What a great resource to find. She requested more books like this and more books from this author. It was great to see her confidence in reading grow as she read this chapter book!

My daughter, aged 9, has recently been diagnosed with dyslexia and dyscalculia. This is the first book she has been excited to read and find out what happens. It may be the first ever book she finishes reading. The font is perfect. She sometimes uses her reading card to help as the white page can be harsh on her eyes.I really hope the series continues

My son really likes this book the font, spacing and sentences are helpful for him, and read it quite smoothly compared to regular books. We’d love more like this!

Bought for my 19year old granddaughter she loved reading this

Was not good for my son the pages are white and needs to be a dull colour. As soon as my son opened the book it was closed again and when he put his colour lenses on the writing was not bold enough but the spaces in between were good
