The tubes seem to be sturdy and work well - they were fine when I pressed them into my tube filling tray, removed well, and the two I have used so far dispensed my balm well. The labels were easy to write on, and the pre-printed labels are generic but cute. The labels stick well to the tubes which was important to me since I've purchased tubes in the past that came with labels that required me to add packing tape over the label in order to make them stick. Major pain. That was not my experience with these - the labels stuck well (I did not use the pre-printed labels) and the tubes work great. The colors are true to the photo, the price is good and I will buy these again. I recommend!

This kit was perfect since I wanted to try my hand at making my own lip balm. It has all the tubes, the holder, labels and the wax scraper. So convenient. I'm doing this for just my family so I made 10 to start. There was no leaking from any of the tubes. I made these in December and the tubes are working perfectly. I have them stashed everywhere, including my car, drawers, purse and the kids bookbags. I decided to make a few more after the first 6. I spilled some on the clear mat on the counter but was looking to use the scraper which worked really well. Cleanup was easy too and I stores it back in the box it shipped it.

These colorful lip balm tubes seem to be of decent quality. Not great, but decent. The various colors are bright and inviting. They can help seperate different flavors, or offer people their favorite color to bring home. Since these empty tubes are the first that I've gotten, I can't compare them to many others. I noticed that the twisting mechanism seems to be very loose- meaning there isn't any pressure against the turning. But I believe that will be different once the actual lip balm fills the tube. I can't wait to try these out. The caps fit securely, and the tubes aren't flimsy. But it's obvious that these aren't made of the best quality parts. I believe they'll be sufficient for my DIY lip balm needs, especially for my first trials. I'm not disappointed. I know there are better quality tubes out there. But in terms of price and variety of colors, these will work just fine. There doesn't seem to be anything particularly wrong with them. I'll update this review once I've used them. But I won't discourage any of you from getting these. They seem fine, especially for those who are experimenting, and not expert DIY lip balm makers yet. Did I mention that I love the colors?? Cause I LOVE the different color options. Other people have admired these empty tubes, so I'm not too concerned about anything. Here we go!

I’ve always wanted to make my own Chapstick. And then I found this kit. To say I’m obsessed is an understatement. It was so unbelievably easy and quick. And the product turned out Amazing. If you were someone who would rather make their own safe organic products. I recommend this.

The instructions are clear easy to use and the lip balm tubes are great they work very well the colors are nice and so are the labels I’ve already ordered more labels and tubes separately very good product and nicely packaged

I am overly impressed with this kit! Comes with everything you'll need. Including labels (2 different kind) see pics. I was nervous and intimated to try this project. But, so happy I dove in and went for it. Worth every single cent, honestly. Super simple to use. Takes 30 minutes to complete project. Set up, making recipe, filling tubes, closing and labeling tubes. Labeling tubes was the most time consuming of all. But, still 30 minutes flat for me to do 50 tubes of chapstick. Tip: Fill tubes 1/2 way, let harden. Then fill remaining tube. Let harden naturally don’t freeze it. Then, take and cap and label them. Well worth the value, will be purchasing replacement tubes for 1/2 the original cost when we need them. Don’t hesitate to purchase, I am positive you will be equally happy!
