Before I retired, I only the ProGlide Shield Blades. I shaved every work day. I have a tough beard. These blades would cut through my beard with ease and they are so wonderfully Smooth & comfortable. At the time, these were Gillettes most expensive blades...$5 per blade...and worth every penny. I would usually get 7-10 shaves per blade. Not the greatest but for sure dthe BEST. I really like these razor blades. Their shaving performance is excellent. To be honest, I don't think there is a huge, groundbreaking difference between these and the standard, non-shield ProGlide blades, but the extra lubrication strip is definitely a nice added bonus.
