Love this story!

Lovely book and illustrations and fantastic message about being yourself.

Frederick is such a special book. What a beautiful message and the art is simple and quite charming.

This is a classic book many of us 90’s kids will remember! The illustrations are simple and cute and the storyline is engaging and easy to follow for toddlers.

This product came in perfect condition. I actually ordered another one so that I could have it at home because I gave it as a gift Leon. Leoni is an amazing writer. Well worth the purchase.

I bought this book to read to my 3 year old but the story I think is better for a more mature reader, maybe 6 or 7.

Many children and adults are deep thinkers and dreamers like this little field mouse. They may not see their value . Fredrick is one of those thinkers and dreamers. BUT He has a specific set of skills that most mice don't and he uses them to sustain his fellow wall dwellers when things get tough. Fredrick's ability to observe, gather, analyze, and then paint stunning pictures with only his words ARE his contribution to his society. His mind sustains them..... just as important and as necessary as gathering seeds.

I have several books by Leo Leoni, and I enjoy gifting them to children.

Highly recommend

I deeply love this book. Many many years after reading this in childhood, I still want to be the mouse who basks in the sun.
