Needed something like this because the specialized editing keyboard I purchased did not have easy-to-use designated keys for volume control, in fact they didn't interface properly when watching YouTube. This device was the quick fix. It arrived much bigger than it appears in the photos. Nearly 3" in diameter. But that's not a complaint. I have plenty of space around my keyboard on the rollout keyboard shelf. It's nicely built. Super easy to glide your hand over the top of it and adjust the volume lightly rotating with any finger tip or thumb. You don't even have to grab the edges to rotate it. This makes it awesome and super easy to use quickly. I especially like the soft click feedback in the control as you turn it. Soft click feel, but no clicking noise ---nice engineering. And it was a plug and play set up. No software, no drivers. Excellent.

Look... for the money, you are not likely to find a better one of these. It just works, and is fairly attractive. I don't think it would survive long if abused, like if someone repeated slapped it to mute/unmute, but it is works fine for more moderate use. Also, the knob part feels a little light... but appropriate for such an inexpensive item.I am happy with this purchase.

Worked great plugged in and it just worked.Wish it had a next and pause button but it does mute when pushed down on.

This works well, plug and play on windows. Very light weight plastic, decent cord length. Not the best build materials but does the job. The knob is pretty big. It could have been half the size. When you turn the knob it has a light knobby feeling click to the rotation. Input is sloppy, meaning the volume might go up 2 or 3 notches, even if you only want one click. If you like precise adjustment and high quality materials, this is not for you.If you want a decent knob that doesn't break the bank and does the job, this fits the bill.

I originally put a one star review because it came stinking to high heaven of cologne. It made me sick, it smelled terrible. Also, there is plastic melted to the top and it is all bumpy and deformed. However, after a few months, it is no longer stinky, and it works as it's supposed to so I can't really be mad at it anymore.

I bought it adjust volume but mute button doesn’t seem to work. I would give it 5 start if it worked how it supposed to
