Jensen Modern Black Series JBS-200B Bluetooth CD Music System, NFC, Digital AM/FM Stereo with Speakers, Aux-in, & Remote Control (Black Series Edition Model)

I was looking for a simple, reasonably priced device that had an AM/FM receiver and a CD player. This happens to have Bluetooth, as well, which I haven't used yet. For $60, I wasn't expecting the sound quality of a $500 system, but I was quite surprised that the sound is as nice as it is. The speakers don't seem to have much of a bass, but enough for the small room I use it in. You can increase the volume to a very loud level, but I've not tried to max it out. It's a lot smaller and more lightweight than I though it would be (I guess I failed to read about the dimensions), but I wanted something smaller than I had before, and this is definitely smaller. Two criticisms: It could stand to have longer wires going to the speakers. The ones provided are quite short--only about 24", so I can't position the speakers as from the receiver as I'd like to. Also, the tiny grey letters on the black remote are rather hard to read, but once you get used to the button positions, it's easy. Aside from that, for the money, it's really a decent little player. If you're looking for a big bass sound, this isn't for you, but if you're happy to have something for daily radio, playing the occasional CD, and use with Bluetooth compatible devices, this could fit the bill. For the money, it does the job.

I bought this for my dad, and he loves it. It has a wonderful sound quality and is easy for him to use. We all love it.

We like everything about this little player. Our stereo finally died after a lot of years. It was a very expensive unit, and since Alexa and Amazon music we rarely used it except at Christmas time to play holiday music. I must say, this little Jensen is a powerhouse . Of course, it’ll not compete with the big guys, but it will give them a run for their money. It’s attractive and small enough to not have to rearrange your your home to accommodate it. It can sit just about anywhere. It would be a really great gift for a preteen for their bedroom, and it has Bluetooth so it communicates with Alexa. Now I see it’s only $46.00....my goodness! We are older and wiser now, than when we invested a fortune in our music system ( and we did) ...this little guy fills just the needs we currently have. As an aside, it doesn’t have a separate base, so you won’t here that thump, thump sound coming from your kid’s room...you know the thump sound, right? Great when you’re listening, really awful if you’re in the next room!

So far, I am very happy with this product.Looks like a good quality manufactured product. Stylish and compact. The Installation was a breeze. The manual is clear and well written (meaning no spelling mistakes and other weird sentences you see so often with other manufacturers). The instructions about how to set up radio stations, operate the Bluetooth, etc. are simple and clear.A small concern is the antenna. This is just a long wire connected to the back. Depending on where you stand in the room, it can create some statics to the radio station. Not a big deal.The remote control is little "clunky" and cheap-looking compared to the quality of the system itself, but it is responsive and does the job.I thought it was a little expensive (almost $50) but there are not many options out there for a compact quality system at that price. Everything under that price level is not worth the effort.Overall, quite happy.

When I purchased it, I bought a set of bluetooth headphones to go with it for a xmas present. We were extremely disappointed to learn that this "bluetooth" stereo doesn't transmit to bluetooth headphones, so it defeated my purpose. We had already thrown out the old unit replaced by this so we didn't return it, but this is too much money to pay for a small shelf stereo set like this without bluetooth transmitter. I may try and connect a dongle to it, and see if that works.The unit seems to be well built, and has decent sound for the speaker size, but they are a little on the tinny side (very little base). The remote is a full feature remote, and works very well.

I’m so bummed. I really really wanted to like this. I plugged it & the radio sound is awesome. I did not have issues that other reviewer‘s had. It found all the stations and it sounds great.The Bluetooth ...is awful it’s actually louder on my cell phone then it is going through the stereo.The CD player (The whole reason for purchasing this product) sound is just OK. Not as loud as it was with the radio settings. This would have received four stars if the CD was as loud as the radio.That being said it’s an inexpensive little unit That puts out decent sound just not loud enough for me.

Mabey some getting accustomed to remote and controls but we love the sound. The sound and tones are crisp and can be heard clearly by seniors. Lot of stuff on tv and on line but you can't beat good radio where you see with your ears and brain.

The product is as described by the seller. Sound is good, remote works as expected and as for value I feel it's a good product and priced right. I only wish it was a front loader instead of top but I knew that at purchase.
