Marchesa Pen Kit for Woodturning (3-Pack + Bushings)

As someone else pointed out, the brass tube is about a half an inch too long. However, this is an easy fix. Just push the twist mechanism further into the tube when assembling! Definitely worth the $22 I paid. I do recommend the kit. I use them for polymer clay and not wood turning.

Very sorry to say these kits did not work for me. The 7mm brass tubes that came with the kit appear to be way too long-- which I did not notice until AFTER I turned the blank and tried to assemble the pen -- after disassembling and cutting off the extra length of the turned blank and tube to the correct length, the twist mechanism could not hold up to multiple pressings and bulged out at the insertion point, and then broke in half. I am not a novice to these kits, and have never had a problem like this with any other kit. It would make a nice pen (very 'frilly' looking), but be sure to check the fit BEFORE turning and assembling.

Very cheap looking kits. Takes a lot of finagling to get to work. Transmissions are very low quality. Had one to come apart on assembly. I have been making pens for a long time and never had this

You get what you pay for. Very cheap looking pens, I would not even give them away.
