"Kigurumi" comes from a combination of two Japanese words: kiru ("to wear") and nuigurumi ("stuffed toy"). Traditionally, it referred specifically to the performers wearing the costume, but the word has since grown to include the costumes themselves. In Japan, Kigurumi costumes are worn as a way to break the conventions of traditional dress... or just as comfy pajamas! In addition to pajamas, Kigurumi make great everyday clothes. cute for costume or pajamas
i loved this as soon as i saw it. i am 5'6" and it is very loose as it is supposed to be, looks good. Comfortable as well. I think this will be perfect for halloween when it gets cold, but in the meantime i'll be wearing them as pajamas. My daughter saw it on me and wanted her own, but i don't think they make the corgi one in a kids size. we have a little corgi that is the same coloring so it was just right for me. the only complaints i really have, and they're pretty minor, is that the cloth had a weird almost chemical smell when i first got it. i washed it and it's kinda still there but maybe will wear off after a couple more washes. second, the tongue sticks up, rather than down as shown in the pic, but i'm sure i can iron it or something if it really starts to bug me.

Well, I'm adorable now
I'm 5'6", 210 lbs. I am a man. This is apparently my Halloween costume. No, it wasn't my idea.I fit in it, but without undoing all the buttons when getting in I slightly tore a seam. Also, the legs fit like capri pants due to my size.The head part is very comfortable and when you sit down you wind up sitting on the tail bit. The entire suit is buttons except for the flap for the heart white piece in the middle which is a snap.The fabric is soft and warm. I wore it over clothes.My girlfriend will not leave me alone since I bought this.Men, if you wear this, try to practice your puppy dog eyes - they help.Good luck and godspeed...

Great costume, but has a strong smell.
Great costume, I can't wait for Halloween. I have two corgi's, so this is perfect for me. It is big and roomy. The only problem was the smell... it has a strong chemically smell, kind of like when you first open some memory foam pillows, only MUCH stronger. I hung it up to air out, but after 4 days, it still smelled strong. I hand washed it with laundry detergent (All Free & Clear) and it STILL smells. Not as bad as when I first got it, at least. I will wash it again, this time on the gentle cycle of the washer, hopefully that helps.

Super speedy
I was told that my Kigurumi would come in 5 - 8 business days, but I was pleasantly surprised when it came in a much shorter time. I am a pretty tall person (a little taller than 5' 6"), but it still fits well, I'll just have to deal with the tacky look of the elastic ankle cuffs sitting a few inches above my own ankles. Its still super cute ... and very warm too. (hehehe I think I'll sew together a matching pair of mittens and boot/slippers to go with it so I can play in the snow when the winter comes lol)

As warm as a corgi fur coat
I purchased this as a gift for my wife and she loves it. I had doubts about the quality given that it's made of fleece, but it's actually a high quality product with excellent stitching and buttons. The attention to detail in the design is great as well, there's a little tail on the back and one of the ears is folded over.The only complaint my wife has had is that it's TOO warm sometimes. But she's worn it for an entire day around the house and loves it.

A perfect Halloween costume for the corgi lover in you. It is super warm, so hope the night is cool. Fits pulse-sized 18/20. The crotch of the pajamas are low, so the tail in the back was lower where I expeced it to be. Also, it's official Sazac, so expect quality and cuteness!

Worked great. I wouldnt recommend for sleep use
This was used as a Halloween costume. Worked great. I wouldnt recommend for sleep use. The heart on the chest snaps on one side and its made so it has to snap or it just flops around and the tail was not comfortable for setting. Now on to the positive. I removed the heart and tail. I wear this all the time just to lounge around the house or in the evenings when its cool and we set out by the fire. I received this on time and was pleased with it for Halloween and very pleased once i made minor adjustments with everyday use.

Warm and well made!
Being of a much shorter size than average ladies my age I thought this was going to be too baggy but standing proud at 5ft it fits absolutely fine. The material is great and it even has pockets! As mentioned it does get a little warm because of fabric choice but the garment looks and feels professional. The tongue does sit flushed against snout but it's a real easy fix. Even though this is my first time buying one I strongly recommend it for anyone looking to purchase a kigu.
