What's the reason for or meaning why Ganesh has a broken tusk?

The broken tusk serves many purposes. It serves as a stylus enabling Ganesha to write the epic Mahabharata for Vyasa. It also serves as a weapon enabling Ganesha to strike down the moon who laughed on seeing him ride a mouse. It also serves as a staff on which he rests his arms and meditates.

Could this be used as a sarong?

It’s 29 x 40” or thereabouts, so unless you have a tiny waist, I’d say no, not for use as a sarong.

This is a thin cloth with a print on one side. It has also some (very few) shining flat beads. Now to your question : yes, the clth is washable but if you wash it the print might fade and might get some wrinkle. I have this product since past two years. I put that on a wall and have never need to wash it.
