With a low B string that flaps around in the wind...
Getting a 5-string is something that I'd been contemplating for years, now. At least once a year, I would think about getting one, but then decided not to bother. I finally decided to give this one a flutter, as the price was nowhere near as much as I'd seen others, and my previous bass from Gear 4 Music has served me well for 10+ years so far, so I had no concerns of the quality of it.I'm pleased I pulled the trigger.There's been some getting used to it, getting some repositining for certain notes and relearning note patterns / groups for some songs, but at least I can mock the others in my band when they downtune to drop D and I just need to shift to another string to get those low chuggy notes.
