Speck CandyShell Clear Hybrid Case for Samsung Galaxy S7 Active - Clear

I didn't find much choice recently for my S7 Active, so I am glad this was on the market.Do get the correct case, as the S7 and the S7 Active are not the same size, and the S7 Active has a button on the left that the S7 does not have. I mention this because Amazon search results returned a lot that were for S7 cases.It fits perfectly and all of the buttons and ports are accessible and the buttons work very well.If I keep it, when I get though using it as a phone case I will repurpose it as a one of those sliders you use to put under a leg of a piece of heavy furniture so you can move it around easier. It is hard to pick up the phone without it sliding out of my hand even when I am paying close attention to what I am doing. I will never be able to just grab it off of a table. The bare phone is very easy to grip, and any case should be likewise.---revised 1/9/22I decided to at least give it a try. It does slip in to my pocket more easily than my former case and I just hope that does not mean it will slip out too easily.I found another problem. There are two small openings for the mic and the speaker. My old case had one slot across both that was also a bit wider. My husband said my phone voice sounded fine to him, but his voice and that of another caller were muffled for me.I haven't found another quality choice. I can put some adhesive tape on it if it slips to much, and I may try to carve a slot in it about the size of my old case, or maybe my leather punch would do that job.I selected this phone for its voice clarity becasue I need that.

I have an S7 active so I probably dont need a case, but I drop it a lot, on concrete, this provides added shock absorption. This is a nice slim case, doesnt add a lot of bulk to my phone. Its smooth so it comes out of the pocket easily too.

I ordered this by mistake (I needed the galaxy s7, not s7 Active) but I will comment on the product I did get. It feels really sturdy but soft somehow at the same time. The buttons on the side are nice and flexible.

Nice and clear but I know it will turn yellow down the road because this is my second one. I still like it. It protects well when I drop my phone.

I beat the living hell out of it and still looks great.

I have an older phone so needed to replace my screen protector and case which were cracked. The old case was a Speck, but was chipped from dropping my and showed wear around the edges. When I took off the old case my phone looked like new, so I bought another one. Should be good for another 3 years!

This Speck case is my go to. This is my 3rd one. My phone lives in my work apron which is a dangerous place to be. I also am quite clumsy. This case has kept my phone in perfect shape!

Perfect for my sons 1st phone. It has survived multiple drops and has t become foggy.
