I purchased two of these 16 packs which is enough to replace all of the can lights in our home plus several extras in case any burn out prematurely. The value for the money - at least at this point - seems very good. Most difficult part of the process was installing the clips into the existing can; our house is 20 years old, so our cans didn't have these clips pre-installed. Nice touch for Amico to include clips for retrofitting old cans like mine, as you can't install the LED assembly without them - otherwise, there's nothing to hold the LED assembly in the can. The clips are thin metal and bend easily, but they do the trick. Once the clips are installed in the cans (if your cans already have them installed, even better!), installation is a snap. Connect one side of the cable harness to the LED assembly and screw the other side into the E26 socket that's already in your can. Snap the hangers onto the LED assembly, then compress the hangers so you can thread them into the clips in the can. Remember to set the color temperature on the rear of the LED assembly before you push them up into their final position, although you can easily pull them down and adjust the color temperature without taking the LED assembly completely out of the can. After having these installed for a little over a week, they appear to be right where I left them - no pulling away from the ceiling. I also have goof trim rings sitting between the LED assembly and the ceiling surface which I purchased separately (the holes had been cut slightly too large, so gaps and rough edges were visible around the perimeter of the cans), and even with that small amount of extra weight the LED assemblies appear to be staying in place. Finally, the only issue I had was one of the LED assemblies had a broken clip so I couldn't attach the hanger on one side. I emailed customer service with a photograph and Amazon receipt, and they quickly responded and offered to send TWO replacements. Great customer service. Oh, and the lights look great! Super bright. I love the flexibility allowed by setting your own color temperature. We used 4K in the kitchen and 3K in other parts of the house where we wanted warmer light. The 2.7K is the warmest temp available and has a warm, yellow glow ideal for a place you want to light up with "cozy" light. The 5K and 6K settings are even whiter, almost beginning to show a blue tint. In the attached photo, the color temp is 4K, and I've switched off a couple of the lights so you can see what they look like when switched off. Highly recommended!

I've bought and installed over 60 of these in my house over the past couple of years and never had any die or flicker. I've tried a ton of different disc lights and led bulbs over the past few years and so many flicker or fail, but not these! They dim smoothly enough, though the color does seem to shift a little blue when dimming I wish they had a 3500K temperature. I like 4000K but it can be a little harsh at times and 3000K is too sleep-inducing I also wish they had a more recessed version with narrower angle to reduce glare. With 8ft ceilings, the glare is noticeable but once I go about my day I find myself not looking up and I forget about the lights. I have 7.5 ft ceilings in part of my basement though and it's much harder to ignore the lights there. I suspect with 9 ft ceilings there really isn't a glare problem The look of the discs themselves is clean and they cover weird gaps and texture issues right at the edge of cans very well without being too large, but I do have a few cans where blemishes still show The springs are good and easy to use unless you have slim cans (e.g. for 2x6 joists). For those, I found that I could just bend the springs with my hands though and make them fit securely with not too much effort Despite the drawbacks, I really love the quality of these things. I feel like all LEDs should be this level of quality, but it's frustratingly rare to find ones that are I haven't noticed any noice from them but I've heard from someone else that they do make a noise but it's not bad

Absolutely love these lights! The 5CCT options let me switch from cozy warm to bright daylight instantly. Super easy to install, and they give a clean, modern look. Bright, energy-efficient, and high-quality—definitely worth it!

Very easy to install- MAKE SURE YOU TURN OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL BOX before you do anything! It took me a few days to actually install these because my house is alway busy and needed to wait for everyone to be sleeping or away to install these. After doing it myself I realized it was so easy and simple to install and no flickering so far. They are good! The warmth on these lights are a little off but I will replace the others so they look more cohesive.

Amico led lights are a good value. Even though these are plastic, they look fine when they are installed. The instructions are easy and installation is quick. The downside is the compatibility with only specific dimmers. The different color temperature options are a good feature. My lutron dimmers occasionally have flickering problems when it is not turned up to full brightness. The remedy is to turn the light off and on, and the flickering usually gets resolved at that time. Overall, it is a nice product at a good price.

I ordered 2 case of these lights. All worked perfect but 1. The one that did not work was a problem with the clips and not the LED. I used them everywhere so I need another case anyway. They replaced my metal eye lense covers. They had rusted and were no longer timely. The bulbs in them were also bad so replacing with these was actually economical. The ones I have used in the past had choices in color intensity, these do not. I had one complaint that they were too bright. I purchased dimmers to combat this, and I personally think every light switch should have a dimmer. These lights covered the whole perfectly and we very easy to install. Think of the phrase easy as changing a lightbulb. These lights do require the metal tabs on your light cans so I would check that they have them and they are not broken or missing. I do not know if these are sealed, as that is a requirement for in shower use. However, the electrical connection is in the can behind the protected light. As you can tell from my testimony of buying more, I think they are a good product. This was overall a very affordable improvement project.

You could spend more at a big box store but it would be a waste of money. Switch on side allows you to select from warm light to daylight and everything in between for less than five bucks a light. (Ok technically it only has five settings but that's more than enough) Crazy great value compared to big box stores. Quality product, rated for moisture, ok to use in bathroom. Are you trying to match existing lights? This is what you need. Most likely almost certainly, one of the five settings will match the color of the light coming out of your existing lights. Side note for seller.. Based on the packaging of the box I received it was obviously a previous return. Normally that would upset me since the product was not discounted for the less than pristine packaging, but these lights are so great and the price so good it didn’t bother me at all. Lucky for seller I did not return them myself. Will update this review if any problems occur in future. I am also using two of these lights in a laundry room that are activated by a 20 year old motion sensor. Not sure if it's rated for LED's but these lights worked fine with it with zero flicker.

Before purchasing and installing I asked a guy who was working on my house what’s the price to change out my recess lights he said $250-&300. I went to You Tube to educate myself and completed the entire job under $60 and 40 minutes of labor. I first purchased one kit from the big box HD store for $20 came home did a test install and the molding ring didn’t cover the existing one, I returned it then I found these on Amazon and am I super impressed they install quickly and super easy, the hardest part for me was moving my ladder across the kitchen “ Lol” I only needed 6 it comes 12 in a box therefore I have extras in case one blows since I couldn’t see how to replace the bulbs however that didn’t take away from the beauty and ease of these lights. I absolutely love them and they look great 👍🏽 Highly recommend the lights changed the look of my kitchen completely looks like they were professionally installed. “ They were by me” Ladies don’t be afraid to try and do it yourself!!
