Very easy installation, only took 5 minutes & that's only because we have 4 kids constantly needing attention, which is why we bought this to begin with! The kids just walk into our room at any given time & so this has basically put a stop to that! My only problem is that is we just got out of the shower or doing the dishes it does not read fingerprints very well! Also, we have yet to discover how to turn the sound off, I work nights & so when i enter the bedroom it sometimes wakes up the little one or more often than not my sleeping girlfriend with "Verification Succeeded, Please Open The Door"

The device was relatively easy to install. The manual made no reference regarding how to enable or disable "silent mode" but we figured out if you click the setup button twice it will toggle silent mode. The voice mode is really helpful to understand how the device operates, and once you get the hang of it, putting the thing in silent mode is really slick.I take one star off because of the biggest drawback of this device, which is that you have to perform a factory reset in order to delete or modify any of the fingerprints, which makes the concept of having "master" and "user" fingerprints kind of pointless. I think it would be very easy to develop a version of the firmware that would use short and long presses of the mode button to manage the fingerprints once the lock is placed in setup mode.

There has been so many times I'm locked out of the house because it won't read my fingerprint. After noticing a pattern I noticed it only happens when it's raining or snowing and the humidity is higher. Or when my skin is damp after taking off my gloves. Make sure sensor and fingers are dry and I have no issues. Getting in.

Works just like its supposed to. Pro tip setup first finger prints before you install. It just makes it easier to get your finger ( thumb ) to cover the sensor. If you follow the directions and move/turn your finger slightly all of the times it asks you to it sets up easily. I use mine several times a day. It works every time if you use a finger that has been saved in the settings and of course in the manner you use when setting that finger. I’ve been installing doors professionally for a long time and for the pricee it works great.

Fingerprint unlock feature needs improvement. Won't open with a moist finger.

We easily installed this on a closet door we need locked from the kids. We absolutely love it and will be buying more.

<$40 for the ability to keep the kids out of the snack pantry? OK!!!! Wasn't expecting much woth this lock....but got so much more! High quality, 5 min install, and will save the $38 I spent on the lock in what the kids won't sneak in food when I'm not looking! He controls the snacks controls the kids! I bought another one after installing this for my office

Love it. Love how if it dies you just pop of the Handel and replace the batteries
