Dixie Kold-Lok Freezer Paper by GP PRO (Georgia-Pacific) White, 18" W x 1,100' L, KL18, (Case of 1 Roll)

I have purchased this before. Unable to find it locally. Ordered and it arrived early. I like this paper to wrap all meat going into the freezer. I use glad wrap to seal the meat and over wrap with this paper. I can keep meat past a year in a deep freeze.

We usually harvest an animal every year and this product is great for making sure our meat doesn’t freezer burn. This product is also useful for my grandson who likes to color. I can rip off large sheets so he doesn’t color on my table. Very versatile!

Better than newsprint for droppings. I keep in plastic deck box and use lip of box to tear it so no expensive cutter/holder needed. Daily morning cleaning is a breeze. I don't compose it, since it's probably plasticized, not waxed. Just roll it up, stuff it in Wal-Mart bag, and throw out. Keeps coop's pine shavings fresh longer so it doesn't need to be changed as often. Love it!!!

I bought this paper to use in pattern making, foundation piecing for quilts, and as usual freezer wrap. I'm happy with it for all three. I chose this freezer paper because of the reputable brands (Dixie & Georgia Pacific) manufacturing it. I'm happy with that decision. The roll has a lot for the price.One issue is that it does not come in a dispenser box with a cutting bar, only plastic wrapped in the Amazon box. I've MacGyvered a dispenser, but it sometimes puts tears in the middle of the sheet. So a factory produced dispenser would be great, maybe as an additional buy linked to it?For patterns and piecing use, I'm very happy with this freezer paper. I use a Oliso mini or an applique iron to temporarily fuse the fabric to the paper. It stays in place, but removes easily. I haven't done much foundation piecing with it, so can only say it is okay for removal, but obviously more difficult than tissue papers. I use the applique iron to keep from touching the plastic backing with the iron. It works for me. I also use it to help preserve standard tissue paper patterns. I smooth out the tissue patterns until they are essentially wrinkle free on top of the plastic side of the freezer paper. Then, on a firm heat-proof surface with a dry iron, I start in the center and carefully fuse the tissue paper to the freezer paper. THIS IS PERMANENT. Once fused, the pattern is much more durable and can be reused more often or have cut off portions taped back on more easily for different sizes, lengthening, etc. For me, it means I have all the benefits of the original unused pattern without having to worry about it getting destroyed from use.For freezer paper....It works great.

This product has so many uses. My primary use is for freezing foods. I also use it in crafts, and other things.

We bought this coated paper to use in our double Macaw cage which houses an Amazon parrot in each side. The papers will keep the trays clean and in good condition. It most likely can be used for many other applications and if you have birds, this is a must to keep their bottom trays clean and dry. Highly recommend.

This paper is perfect for freezing a variety of meat. The width is good and with 1100 feet on the roll, it should last a few years! I like the poly coated freezer paper as it does a great job preventing juices from leaking through. It is a medium thickness and meets my needs perfectly.

I am very pleased with the quality of this freezer wrapping paper. Ordered it online as I have not been able to find it in our grocery store for over a year.
