As a smaller dude, this holster gets thr job done, it fits my full size 1911 build without any adjustments out the box. Its snug at my appendix carry but I'd sacrifice comfort for protection. It works well enough. Kydex will work better over leather if you don't wish the leather to absorb any moisture from your carry gun. The sweat guard is at a good length and the quality is decent.

Bought it for a friend. Easy concealment, adjustable, very sturdy, metal belt clip. Great buy!

I bought the holster for my MAC 9 DS. It needed a little loosening to be able to slide the firearm in. Overall retention is good and it fits fine on me. Well worth what you're paying for. After the loosening of the screws, it's still holding on. There's no give. It's not easy concealing a 5 inch barrel 1911 but it does work just fine.

It works, retention is good. What do you want a holster to do? Hold the gun in place - this does that. This a basic, no frills, kydex holster. It will do its job. It hasn't moved around on my belt, and with an undershirt on, it is comfortable. The only drawbacks: it has one clip so the weight isn't distributed, and the clip it comes with is 1.5 inch. If you have a bigger belt, you'll want to buy their bigger clips (it is affordable).

After buying and immediately returning a more expensive holster from a different seller, I'm VERY happy with this better made holster! It feels strong. The retention was easy to adjust until my sidearm snapped into place firmly. In a few seconds, I also had the cant set for the diagonal crossdraw angle that I prefer. I've only had this for a day, but so far I really like it. Feels like it will last a long time. Works for double stack and single stack 1911. Does not cover the mag release button, but who cares? I'm right handed and that button is pressed against my belly. I've trained enough to NOT hit the mag release while drawing. Hard to believe that this is less than half the price of the other holster that I returned to a different seller and this is MUCH better made!

This holster is nice but it's to small for a taurus pt1911 with rails .. if you have one without rails would recommend but if you have rails this won't work
