Romeo 5x worth it.
Very pleased with this red dot. I am extremely indecisive at times and was torn between many options available. However, I had a friend that kept on insisting the Romeo 5 was the best bang for the buck for a beginner into AR's like myself. For some reason I could not get past the fact that I wanted a red dot that ran on a more common battery for a real life, long term SHTF type scenario. Maybe that's a dumb thing to get hung up on but hey it's my money lol. Anyways I spent weeks pouring over reviews, specs, price shopping etc etc. Then I realized I never even looked for a AA or AAA Romeo 5! But a simple search led me to this guy and I couldn't be happier. For me this 5x version is worth the little extra to me and now I totally get why my buddy wouldn't get off of telling me to get a Romeo 5. Its solid, easy to use, easy to adjust and right out of the box was perfectly lined up for absolute co-witness with my Magpul pop ups which is what I was looking for. If you're taking the time to read this review then I'll assume you're undecided too and for what it's worth I'd recommend this all day long.

Great red dot at a great price.
I’ve got three, one on a 10/22, one on a .300bo pistol and one on a .223 AR.I really like them and will continue to use these as my go-to for a basic red dot. I have optics that use button batteries and CR123 cells but prefer this as it uses a much more common (and lower cost) battery.

Real Deal
I was a little skeptical about buying this off of Amazon to be honest. The price was cheaper than on Sigs website so I thought I would give it a shot. Great Deal and works amazing. Clear Glass and this thing is amazing for the price. This is the second one I have bought and for the price I don't think you can beat it. AAA battery makes it so easy instead of having to undo half of the optic to change the battery. Love it

Quality on Target!
Very pleased with this Sig Sauer SOR52101 Romeo5 2MOA Compact Red Dot Sight. Good Looking High Quality Scope. Like the fact it powered by a typical AA battery. *And the motion activated option is a 100% must have for any home defense grab & go at it firearm- IMO*. Ran 500+ (556 62g) rounds already using this scope & its "Quality on Target"! No Disappointments Here.

Perfect overall Red Dot for under $200!
This is my first Red Dot purchase; after researching a few reviews/videos I decided to go with this one. I mounted it on my S&W M&P 15. I used the included spacer so it would be a lower 1/3 co-witness. Overall it was easy to mount, just be careful you don’t “torque” down the small screws and break them off (if installing the spacer). When I turned it on for the first time the dot appeared to be sort of a scrambled shape (I believe that others had this issue as well). I removed and reinstalled the battery and it seemed to take care of that issue. I took it to an indoor range to get it sighted in. It took about 15 rounds @ 50 yards to get it sighted in. This model has the AAA battery, it was a few more $ than the one with the 2032 battery, but I personally like the AAA model. The elevation/windage adjusters are easily accessible, along with the battery cap. The Red Dot (2 MOA is perfect) has a sufficient amount of brightness levels (level 5 was good for me), and they are easily accessible. The Red Dot turns on/off after holding either button down (about 2-3 seconds) and turns itself on/off after inactivity, nice features. The overall size is nice and eye relief isn’t an issue. For under $200 you really can’t go wrong with this Red Dot. I really can’t think of anything negative, other than the made in China stamp I noticed when installing the spacer.

Value
For the price its a quality sight. The battery after a while had to be taken out and put back in to get it to turn on which i didnt like but overall good product. 1x zoom isnt made for distance but more accurate with this than iron sight.

Great red dot for the price!
The "SIG" seal was broken on the box, made me wonder if it was returned at one point or a serviced unit, not sure why the seal would be broken. I did inspect it thoroughly, the red dot works fine, guess we'll see how lasts. I have a few of these SIG red dot and they work great, really like the "AAA" battery.

Cheap and reliable.
This is a great optic for the price. For my eyes and my eyes only it's between a crisp dot, and a sort of slash some days. It looks great, auto turns on, saves brightness, takes triple-a's, and has great glass clarity. I've mounted it on my DD ddm4v7 and I love it like I say. There's obviously better optics, it just all depends on what you want to pay and what I paid for this is well worth the price.
