Perfect for small welder
Happy with this quality brass ground clamp to replace the stock one I ruined on my Century FC90. It's pretty small but the jaws do open wider than the old one, and have a very strong clamping power.

Very small clamp
The clamp is well made and sturdy but very small. Not sure what I will use it for due to its size. But because it is well made, I will keep it and find a use for it.

Small, For Tight Spaces, Good Spring Tension, Easy To Use, Brass
I'm using this brass clamp as an auxiliary ground clamp in addition to my main C-Clamp ground. Sometimes just setting the weld piece on the table isn't a sufficient ground and I want to clamp directly.This clamp is small -- about the size of my hand. A number 4 AWG ground cable will fit through the slot in the handle, providing a neat and comfortable assembly.From my local welding shop, I elected to buy 5 feet of the 4AWG cable and two 4-5/16 solder lugs, which I soldered to each end.I then drilled and tapped a 1/4-20 hole in my main C-Clamp ground and attached the 4AWG cable to the main clamp.Now if I need additional grounding, I attach the small clamp to the item directly. Tubing and other odd-shaped pieces don't always get sufficient grounding just sitting on the table.Now they do.

great little clamp
Aside from being far and away better than the clamp provided by Hobart for their mig offerings (glorified battery charger clamp) This clamp although compact is very strong sprung and appears ample to carry more than demanded of my welder (190 amps). I have had problems with grounding just a single side of two piece assemblies with slightly dissimilar iron/steel or varying cleanliness of metals so have Wyed my ground cable and provided two clamps for multiple ground points. (???)

Great product, works great
Great product, works great. The cost is one of the best features of this gropund clamp.

SMALL
This clamp is fairly well made, but be advised, it is very small. It measures in at 5 1/2 inches overall length. It will only open to about 1 1/2 inches. I'm going to try it, but I'm not very happy with it.
