Not the best choice for water camera
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The camera is pretty good for its price. When I bought it 2 months ago, I didn't find a review for actual underwater usage. It still doesn't seem to have one. This is my experience using it while snorkeling in Panama and Costa Rica in February.+ 4k video quality is great. Attached is a sample clip in wavy water under non-optimal light condition after a big rainstorm. I don’t know why the video quality is so bad when attached to the review. The same one under ‘related video short’ section is not distorted.- Photo quality is not optimal with some kind of 'weird' colorization. The first 2 are under optimal light condition and in calm water. The photo of the shipwreck looks like it's from google terrain. The pictures from the same set as in the video are completely non-usable. I did some screen shot as in the last 2 pictures. They look much better than the photos taken in photo mode, and even take less storage.- Underwater operation is awkward with the attached waterproof case. I have a lot of those "accidental one-second video" when switching on/off. Switching between video and photo under water is something I finally gave up on.I would say this one is not the best choice if you plan to use it as a water camera for snorkeling or diving, especially if you plan to take still photos. If you just use it to take underwater video, it's OK. You will get some mediocre videos with acceptable quality.

We didn't go underwater but we glad we have the case on
Bought this for our vacation and it arrived just in time. My husband spent a lot of time playing with it and trying different modes, he said money well spent lol... I like the touch screen and the remote really comes in handy. We didn't spend a lot of time syncing with the app since the remote worked so well. We didn't take the camera under water but we've dropped it so many times.... so glad we had the case on. Picture and video quality are nice, a compact little camera to bring along.

Question the battery life
Amazon replaced the first camera and battery charger. I fully charged the batteries and then I had the same issue again in which when shooting a video that battery life ended in approx. 10 minutes. The battery symbol turned completely red And when I started the video with a fully charged battery the battery indicator then went immediately to 3/4 indicator. Also the unit would stop displaying the shootingof the video. I am not sure if there are issues with the camera but I am not happy with the performance and will be returning the second camera. Also since there is no support help from the company it is hard to diagnosis any issue since you can not talkto anyone incustomer service here in the USA not good policy for customers. Also the instruction manual is not written very well and there is no explanation of what the various options do when you select them. There should be an online option to explain what option does and how it affects the use of the camera. Overall I would rate the unit as a minus 1.

Cheap, average camera
Well may be for the price it's sold it can be called a good product, but my personal experience was rather dissappointing. I had a problem with the battery cover which was simply stuck right of the box - I couldn't open it without pushing a bit which resulted in a broken mechanism. The mechanism is really weak and not intuitiveVideo quality is OK, photo quality is not so good - either you have to adjust the colors everytime you have different background or it's just camera thing. Remote control died after 1 month when it got splashed with water - there was some yellow liquid coming out the buttons and it was dead. The smartphone app which is used to transfer photos and videos is just awful old outdated lagging thing. Good case though with lot of accessoriesI contacted the manufacturer so that they could at least replace the battery cover, they responded but I haven't got anything after more than 1 month wait. Dissappointed.

... the app camking pro so you can mirror your smart phone to the camera that has built in wifi ...
First off download the app camking pro so you can mirror your smart phone to the camera that has built in wifi so you can mirror it anywhere like outdoors its not like the wifi you need to get on the Internet. Touch screen extra accessories are not expensive, 2 batteries, nice case, and nice waterproof case but i don't plan on using it for under water just as a protective case. I will update a video later.

Can't go wrong for the money
Great camera for the money, good but not great video at 1080 60fps. The main thing is it works well, touch screen is great, the camera has not given me any buggy issues like some of the other cheaper action cameras i have had did, also the camera does not run hot at 1080.

Camera is awesome.
Camera is awesome. Easy to setup. Full of features you would expect to spend a ot more on. Video quality is good. have 64gb MicroSD. Really like the remote featrure. WiFi app leaves something to be desired. reccomend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive action cam that rivals high end. touch screen is easy to use

Great GoPro Alternative!
Great little action cam! This thing is extremely compact and the touch screen makes it super easy to use! Comes with a nice little case that holds the camera and all its included accessories. Excellent value for the money!

4k @ 25 fps, NOT 30 fps
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. i'm not sure if i got some kind of asia market x20 or there are a lot of dishonest reviews. I'll give it to you straight. i bought the camera here on amazon.ca. i just need something cheap and good enough for family footage for video. .. taking photos on these action cameras is useless so i never do it nor will i bother reviewing that.1) 4K records at 25fps not 30. i loaded the vids onto Vegaspro 17 and all the footage is 25fps. i'm not sure why but thats what i got. i could return this camera but right now, i think i'm fine with that despite the false advertising.2) video is oversharpened out of camera with the lowest sharpening setting. hard to do much after that in post processing. the video i shared is a pretty raw straight out-of-camera sample. video frames are just really mediocre. detail lacking even in bright sunlight.3) EIS on -- actually , i think this camera does an OK job . NO WHERE as good as gopro and akaso stabilization but i think for my purpose, OK. its REALLY rough on the trail and compared to my gopro3 (no stabilization), this one does a better job of course. I had an akaso camera which had amazing stabilization but in 1 month it broke ... so i had to buy this as a replacement. i purposely recorded really shakey bike ride to demonstrate EIS.4) comes with a lot of accessories.... quite pleased and it is all compatible with my old gopro3 stuff5) if you want best video quality, stick with gopro brand. Frankly after all the trials with china-knock-off action cameras, my gopro3 OLDDD camera (which STILL WORKS in year 2020) destroys akaso and campark and vantech action cameras at 1080 30fps.... STILL. doesnt matter what the reviews say, in real life shooting, more than just a guy walking down the sidewalk, the gopro just works better, much more reliable and doesnt break after a few months. this will be my last knock off camera. if this breaks i'm going back to gopro. there are too many tech reviews on youtube that praise these kinds of cameras with basic tests. they dont really use the camera they just review it for a quick hour. I actually use it for various family stuff outside and under water and when i compare my old gopro3 footage and these three knock off brands (akaso, campark, vantech), i just always prefer gopro3 footage which is already CLEANER than these ones. the only issue here is gopro showing its age, not 4k, batterylife poor now and no image stabilization.i tried looking for firmware updates but this is it. i have the latest 2019/11 firmware. 4k @ 30fps is NOT supported on this camera and thats really a buyer beware warning here.anyway, i do not understand how others give this 5stars when even a gopro3 produces better videos (minus the lack of stabilization). hope this helps you make the decision.

Note: The X20c has NO webcam mode.
For the price the camera seems pretty good. 1080 can go as high as 120hz which I believe is the "upgrade". However, The firmware has been updated on this model and they took away usb webcam mode. (The answers section says it works but this is false.) I adventure around as well as make content at home. Thought this would be a universal solution but I guess not. Otherwise it's not a bad entry action cam.

Weird colors
Went on a fall walk with it and regretted it: it could not properly keep white balance, brightness, and contrast. Many modes are not real, but lower resolution upscaled.Returned after second use, replaced with Campark x30 which gives a much, much better picture.

picture quality is shit.
ive been playing and testing with settings the video is grainy and not very focused, and not the greatest. for example can barely read 1/4" letters on a peice of paper unless camera is held still and about 1ft from paper. and still fuzzy.best video ive gotten so far is.at 1080p 120 fps. iso manual and quality high and codec H.2654k looks worse.my phone from 2011 looks alot better. may just use this as action cam.better then my old action camera from 2010prob should have shoped around for a used go pro or an older one.but 79 bucks i guess?

Amazing Picture Quality!
This camera works flawlessly. The picture and video quality is just amazing. You get 4K pictures/video out of such a small form factor. The camera handles low-light conditions admirably. There are numerous picture modes to choose from so you will always have the right one for your shooting conditions. The numerous accessories included with the camera has allowed me to mount the camera on different tripods and sticks. They work very well together and are interchangeable with each other so the mounting combinations are nearly endless.I am always finding new settings to try out with a menu that is very intuitive and well laid out. Each separate shooting mode has its own menu options on top of the main camera options. And the touchscreen makes navigating the menus even easier. If you cannot access the touchscreen there is also manual buttons on the case that are easy to use. This is my first action camera and I am enjoying it. It does everything it claims it can do and more. I wholly recommend this product and campark as a company.
