Love Banker's Boxes. They're strong, cheap, and convenient. Pretty fast to assemble once you get the hang of it and don't have to follow the instructions -- basically you're just tearing along some scored lines and then inserting tabs -- there's no tape or glue or anything, clever design. Then you can stack them many boxes high. They're primarily designed for storing file folders, and I use them for that, but I also use them for lots of other things--holding tools, old photographs, etc. Anything that's pretty much out of sight, but I do use some in my shop too -- not ideal because you have to lift off boxes to get to other boxes, but cheap and well organized and a good use of space. They're more economical than fancy containers and, from my perspective, often more convenient!

Needed to pack up our kitchen quickly for an unplanned kitchen renovation (pipe burst) and these came in so handy. Super easy to put together and sturdy enough for dishes and other heavy items. I knew that if these were made for files, ceramic mugs and plates worked be just fine. The handles were sturdy. I didn’t think I’d need all 12 but I definitely did. Now I’m using the empty ones for more basement storage or designated goodwill boxes. You’ll feel silly spending money on these at first, but you’ll be glad you did.

Used these to pack up a lot of junk in the office. They seem smaller than they appear. The bozes are pretty sturdy but start to bend with too much weight. Not bad, could be better.

Bankers boxes are priceless. They do exactly what they say, are perfect for packing, carrying, and storing papers. They are easy to put together and very sturdy. I'm using them specifically to pack up papers and move to a different location. What I can't believe is that college educators don't seem to use them for going between classes or campuses.
