Amazon Basics 3/8 Inch Kitchen Inset Cabinet Door Hinge, Self-Closing, 1 Pair, Oil Rubbed Bronze, 10-Pack

You just need to look at the measurements closely on the product description before you buy them. They were right on for my doors. The screws were smaller in thickness and length than my originals from the late 70's but still worked fine. I've never done this before and some of the previously drilled holes where the hinge attaches to the cabinet were not straight off in height for uniformity so I used round tooth picks to fill their holes then just drilled my chosen placement after using an ice pick to get the dimple for starting my drill bit (they like to move around if you don't use that and even then still do so it takes some finesse). Not too difficult. Part of the uncertainty was the self-closing nature of the hinge makes it tilt in just a bit so I took the ice pick or screw driver tip and placed it between the hinge body and mount hole piece to make it flat before choosing my dimple spot. They look nice and I gave them a 4 for sturdiness because I could see the hinge metal is somewhat easy to bend. I think they are zinc some sort of plating or coating. Not sure. Still I found them very nice and certainly worth the money.

Everything about these hinges exceeded my expectations. My experience with this type of hinge to this point was mediocre at best. Here's what stood out; The quality of each unit was consistent, the finish was awesome, fasteners provided were correct size and style, and the packaging was neat and convenient. No silly individual bags to open per pair. All this at a great price in convenient quantities. I won't look anywhere else next time I need this style hinge. The only request I could make is to include a few surplus screws of each size in the larger quantity packs. Their small size means handling can be a bit tricky and finding a dropped screw even trickier. This does not impact my 5 star rating as these are handling issues on the purchasers end and have no impact on product quality. Thanks!

Ugh. I ordered these -- satin nickel --along with the knobs - before I went away on a long trip.I started the project by replacing all the knobs in the house. The knobs look great! Easy-peasy job!So I figured I'd finish up on the hinges when I got back from my trip. That looked more challenging.So then I get back from my trip -- and I find out I ordered the wrong hinges! And -- I blew the return deadline. Shucks.The picture that made me decide on this set of hinges instead of the other? It's not clear. Don't make my mistake!Whichever set of hinges you *think* you need - choose the other one. I had two other people double check what I ordered. They both said they would have made the same mistake, going by the diagram.To make sure you order what you need, TAKE THE HINGE OFF YOUR CURRENT DOOR. That's really the only way to compare adequately. If you look at the hinge ON THE DOOR and look at the Amazon diagram, you'll make the same mistake we all made.So now, I have a box of 50 hinges I can't use. Nuts. Can someone at Amazon cut me a break and let me return them for the correct hinges?If the answer is "NO" - I understand. I should have checked this before I left town.And someone wants to make me an offer on a box of 50 hinges - I paid 44.95 for them. These hinges are exactly what you get at the big box home centers except the pricing is much better on Amazon. It helps to use a self-centering Vix bit during installation. The screws are plenty strong if the holes are pre-drilled. This is especially important with hardwoods. The finish will scrape of with metal to metal contact but it's nothing a black sharpie can't fix. I was hesitant to buy these based on some of the reviews but after using the hinges I think most of the problems brought forward are more user errors than a defective product.

Hinges look great, but they are not very sturdy. I bought a few at Lowe’s to see what color I wanted then bought 200 hinges from Amazon to cut my spending in half. I guess that should have been the warning sign. The hinges perform okay for very small doors (12”x 12”) but the larger doors (2.5’x 2’) the hinges just sag when you open the door. My cabinets are from the mid 70’s and the old brass hinges I took off were MUCH more sturdy. Other than being flimsy the hinges work great. I just had to hang the cabinet doors a little higher so when they drop from opening the still have enough clearance to close. You are getting what you it for, and that is an okay cheap hinge. If you have relatively have or large cabinet door I would recommend just buying the ones from Lowe’s unless you are trying to stick to a budget like me and have 100 cabinet doors in your kitchen!

Bought these to replace hinges on older style cabinets and they are just what I needed. Attached a close up picture to help you see if these are the kind you’re looking for. I bought these about a year ago and they've been up for about 9 months..Pros:- Inexpensive- Packaged well...arrived in perfect condition. The picture is a 10 pack and as others have noted , it's 10 pairs of hinges so 20 in the box- Look great (for old-style hinges)Cons:- The screws could be a little stronger (have to be careful not to strip).Overall these are a great deal - five stars because I don’t think you can beat these for the price, even if you have to get different screws.The handles in the pictures came from Amazon too: AmazonBasics Modern Arch Cabinet Handle, 4-inch Length

Seems to be almost no difference from the same looking product bought at home depot or lowes for three times the price. Installed on my kitchen. Looks great!

Thank you Amazon for selling a great product at a great price. We had some failing hinges on our old kitchen cabinets. After surfing Amazon for duplicate replacement hinges I found AmazonBasics carries a nearly identical hinge. They fit perfect, look good and will slowly replacing all our Kitchen hinges. Work great, look great. Got what inwas looking for

Bulk ordered to replace old hinges on our cabinets. Was thinking of replacing old cabinets but we liked the styling of our old 1940's kitchen. They fixed up the saggy old doors and screwed into the existing holes with a few wooden toothpicks and weld bond glue to tighten up the loose holes. Pleased with the result.
