I honestly haven't really been able to use my machine yet because I've been having issues with the software "not responding". Once it does decide to "respond" it appears to be a wonderful tool. I've been able to manipulate a design I had created in mspaint in the silhouette software and absolutely loved trying to figure out what could be done. I managed to test a cut of my design which was more advanced than it should have been for my very first time, but I'm hard headed 🤷🏾‍♂️It came out much better than expected and look forward to challenging my creativity.Hopefully the software issues will correct themselves...If you're patient and pick up quickly, you will love this cutter.

This silhouette was a Christmas gift for my 12 year old daughter. She was so happy and surprised by the gift. She only used the machine a few times. She used it on notebooks,tablet,cups and a few other small things. Last week we got school supplies for the new school year. We got new vinyl for her so she could put it on her new school supplies. She got it ready to use and the silhouette will not come on. I emailed Amazon the informed me that I would need to reach out to manufacturer. I sent the email telling them the issue. They were very quick to respond. Then I received a email with several troubleshooting suggestions. When I tried them and emailed them back I haven't heard from them. The company seems fine with you fixing it but not them. They are treating me like I'm lying about my issue with machine. I think the 1 year manufacturer warranty should cover it. I'm willing to send it to them to repair or replace it. It's been 3 days and I haven't heard from them. Dont buy it.

I had a few glitches initially but have this thing up and running now. The software is easy to use but feels a little clunky and limiting. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

Absolutely love it so far! My mom and sister both have silhouette cameo’s so it wasn’t too difficult figuring out how to use it, but I imagine it’ll take some time still to get the most out of it. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I couldn’t get it to work with my chromebook so I had to use my boyfriends laptop for the program.

I LOVE my cameo 3!! I got it early for christmas and used it to label home-made sugar scrubs. The labels were adorable! I am working on learning how to use the pens but there are many resources available for learning. Sending to the printer is super easy! I'm excited to try all kinds of projects I've yet to discover.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this over the Cricut because I make a lot of things that are longer than 24" and the Silhouette Cameo3 can do up to 12"x 15 feet long! My first couple of tries were terrible because I didn't understand, but after watching the very helpful YouTube videos available I'm now making tons of things for my family & Custom Photo Props for my Business. Great starter kit for practicing your new skills!

This bundle was a great bargain. Lots of vinyl to practice with, pens which I hadn’t expected to use much but which have come in handy, transfer tape, and a few useful tools. Buy a spatula for working with paper and tweezers work way better for weeding than the dull hook it comes with. I recommend YouTube tutorials and lots of patience to get started and remember your blade is initially very sharp. My settings for vinyl were at 1,1,1 and I still cut through a few carrier sheets.

Like the product. Purchased over a year ago and finally opened the box about a month ago after giving my security blanket (a beloved and well worn Cricut) away and meeting the challenges of slowly learning to the Silhouette. So far I'm lovin it. It will make for some fun crafting days as the winter months approach. As the basics are learned, I'm finding that it's not so different than a lot of other design programs I've used. Would highly recommend for all crafters as there are so many cross venues that it can be used for.
