Bought as replacement for my two (knackered) patio chairs and it's perfect for its intend. After a few hot/cold/wet seasons the elastics were breaking in all places rendering the chairs unusable, these replacement elastics are easy to put on (I advise taking photos before removing the old ones entirely) and so far are proving strong. Inexpensive and efficient.

I bought these for a very large helicopter chair that had its ropes all worn away. It worked brilliantly. Very durable and handles heavy chairs well very easy to put together.

They took some muscle and time to install and they "work", but they do sag a little more than the original cords. But it breathed life into the chairs so I'll get maybe another 2-3 years of use before rust takes its toll.

Perfect replacement, easy to apply

The quality of the cord seems ok. However the cord for the back of the chair was too long and the cord for the seat of the chair was far too short. I made do with utilising the old cords that I was repacing. I advise checking the cord lenghts on the chair you are going to re-string before buying.

These are cheap and exactly the right lengths for putting the comfort back in your folding garden chairs. Tip: only remove the old elastic as you replace the new elastic i.e. un-lace an old bit and lace in a new bit and keep a bit of tension on the new elastic as you go along or it won’t reach the end. It’s much easier than taking all the old stuff out first and wrestling with your chair. Took me about 45 mins per chair to do and they feel like new.

Very good. Easy to use extended the use of my chairs for a few more years.
