Tolkien Calendar 2018

4.5 really. Thank you so much for going back to starting the week on Sunday. What a long confusing year last year was. The art is just spectacular. The paper is of a much heavier weight than normal which will be much better for hanging.Two important things missing. The mini pre/post monthly calendars are highly appreciated when present and sorely missed in this. How on the great green Middle-Earth is JRR Tolkien's birthday missing????

Finally a Tolkien calendar with good art work again.Looks like the art work from the earlier years calendars, not the grade school quality artsy-fartsy stuff from the last several years.Been collecting them for decades, happy to see one of the old school painters who's paintings fit the fantastic word paintings of Tolkien.Tolkien could paint a great scene with words, not so much with a paint brush.Would love to see the Brothers Hildebrandt come out with some fresh new Tolkien calendars again.

Beautiful calendar and glad to see one that focusses on something that is in the Silmarillion, though, of course, the story appears in other Tolkien works as well. I would have liked important Tolkien days (his birthday, death day, first publishing of The Hobbit, LOTR, etc) to have been included, as in past Tolkien calendars I have purchased, but that's the only criticism I have. Glad to see more Alan Lee works!

This is a beautiful and very sturdy calendar. The new illustrations by Alan Lee are wonderful and the calendar itself is made of thick paper. It looks beautiful on my wall.

Beautiful artwork by Alan Lee. Good quality printing and thick paper stock. Difficult to write on though with a pen. The paper is very silky,

I only wish the pictures were a little bigger. Otherwise it's great.

What is there not to love ? Beautiful artwork and wonderful tale. This is a Christmas gift for my tolkien loving 13 year old granddaughter. Item arrived well packaged, promptly.

I didn't know what the theme for the 2018 Tolkien calendar would be, so you can imagine my joy when it arrived and I saw Beren and Lúthien on the cover. The Alan Lee artwork is exemplary as usual, and I will enjoy looking at throughout the year.

Il calendario come solito è perfetto a 360 gradi, fattura ,colori e descrizioni per ogni illustrazione .Poi nulla da ridire per gli ottimi disegni del Maestro Alan Lee.Ripeto davvero un ottimo acquisto e lo consiglio a tutti gli amanti del genere ..con questo calendario avrete in casa un pezzo a tiratura limitata e un giorno tra diversi anni potrete rispolverarlo e riguardare le fantastiche illustrazioni riportate qui.

Precioso calendario. Cada mes con una lámina distinta. Cada año compramos el calendario de manera que vas teniendo una colección estupenda con distintas láminas. Este esta en inglés pero lo hay en español.
