Zmodo Sight 180 C 180° Wide Angle 1080p Full HD Wireless Home Security IP Camera Night Vision and Two Way Audio - Cloud Service Available

I’ve had thee different sets of cameras over the past year and haven’t found one that truely fits my needs utilized recently. I purchased this camera a month ago and couldn’t be happier.This camera offers a 180 degree field of view which allows me to purchase less cameras. It also offers night vision which is equal to or greater than the Nest Cam’s night vision. I’ll be looking to add three more indoor cameras and 5 outdoor camera very soon. I’m also looking into their doorbell cam around the same time.If you’re looking for a solid set of cameras for a reasonable price, this one is for you.

I've had good luck with Zmodo cameras. Reliable connections, and an app that works well. This particular camera offers a very wide field of view. I used to use pan-and-tilt cameras, but have found that a fixed camera with a very wide viewing angle actually works better for home surveillance when we're away.Positives of this camera:+ Good looking design+ Full 180 degree view, as promised; let's me monitor a whole condo with a single camera, rather than setting up multiple cameras with overlapping fields of view (this one 180 degree camera replaced two D-Link HD cameras with 120 degree views)+ Quick and easy setup using their app; no problems with discovery or logging onto network+ Requests a camera password by default, for better security+ Good price for a 180 degree, 1080p camera+ Night vision works well, even up to 30' away (better than specs)+ Magnetic design makes for easy adjustment; more convenient than bases that require fiddling with adjustments then tightening screws while trying to avoid moving anythingDownsides:- Image is not as sharp as my Omna 180 degree HD camera (Omna costs twice as much)- Wide-angle distortion correction is also not as good as the Omna- The power cord feeds up through the hole in the base, which restricts the degree to which you can tilt the camera up and down; not an issue for eye-level mounting, but if you're placing the camera up high, as I am, you can't tilt the camera down as far as needed; I had to shim the base; this is an unfortunate flaw in an otherwise innovative design (could be fixed with a slot at the back of the opening)- Uses a proprietary power adapter, which means the camera is lost if the power supply fails; I prefer cameras that use a standard micro-USB cable, which also lets me pick my cable lengthBottom line: Not as sharp or distortion-free as the Omna 180 HD camera, but given that the Zmodo is also half the price, it's a great value and probably the best choice for most applications. Also, I have found Zmodo cameras to be very reliable (unlike the Omna 180, which drops out constantly). The magnetic base of the Zmdo Sight 180 HD is sleek and innovative, but also limits up-down adjustment. Overall, this is a very good choice for monitoring a single large space efficiently with a good looking camera.

Updated review:Please note that I purchased 3 cameras and a zmodo NVR. After I found out that the NVR is not recording voice, but just video, I had returned the NVR.So, to be able to record audio, I had to purchase cloud recording services. So, I purchased the 7 days continuous recording service. Few days ago, I found out that the cloud recording is not continuous. In addition, there is no voice recordings either.Moreover, when you try to discontinue the service, it is not immediate. Although you purchased 30 days of service, and you are 2 weeks into the month, if you discontinue the service they will charge you a full 30 days from the date you discontinue the service.So, the summary: The cloud continuous recordings is a lie, the cloud voice recording is a lie, the customer support does not exist, and the charge of extra 30 days is fraudulent.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------First review:After going through so many reviews i decided to take the plunge and purchase 3 180 cameras and an one 1080 nvr.The reason I purchased this set was to record video and audio in the house.Camera: easy to setup, easy to upgrade, easy to use through zmodo app. Overall 5 stars.App: simple and intuitive.Motion detection: works everytime. Be careful on setting for At Home vs Away.NVR: I havent installed NVR yet, but will provide an update soon.

I have 6 Zmodo products and love them all. I would suggest everyone get at least one of these cameras. Security all round my home is very relaxing. My nephew suggested this for me with a bad tenant and it has so helped me document all violations. The proof is in the video. Thank you Zmodo for being so easy to install and your phone app is wonderful.
