PERFECT FOR SONY ZV1
The media could not be loaded. I was so nervous to purchase this but I am so glad it works perfectly with the mini flash I got from aliexpress. The problem I had with it is, when I take a picture with the flash, there is a shadow at the side of the picture because the lens go too far out and the flash is tiny I figured I needed a hot shoe adapter so I can heighten my flash. If anyone needs a flash for sony zv1, this is the perfect setup and this is the tiniest it can get! I would love a white version of the adapter in the future to match my cam’s color lol

Sony Alpha users trying to fix white balance whit Godox TTL triggers
Purchased to mount Godox X2Ts to Sony Alpha camera to resolve white balance issue when using TTL pins (connecting Godox directly to camera hot shoe) in manual mode. What I found is the firing pin on the Godox X2Ts specifically for the Sony trigger will not align with the firing pin on this shoe adapter. The pins on the X2Ts push the firing pin too far back past the pin on the adapter. I resolved this by using a Dremel to remove the plastic on the front of the adapter so the X2Ts pins can slide further forward. Also had to Dremel out 1/8" of the metal on the adapter shoe. This allowed the X2Ts to slide into the adapter further which making the firing pins align correctly. About 15 minutes of Dremel work making the adapter work just fine.

Works Well
I set off my slave flash units from the hot shoe on my camera. This adapter works well to connect the RF slave trigger with the camera

Does not perform as advertised!
I used this item, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073WVW9XM/ref=cfb_at_prodpg to photograph a real estate property. I needed to use it to independently send a "fire" signal on the hot shoe to my flash without using TTL on my Canon R thereby not confusing mt white balance. I used it on 2 different properties in 2 days and it worked great. The next day, Friday 10/23/20 it would not send the signal, I originally thought it was my Transmitter or Receiver so I replaced batteries in them and it fired one time. After that, it would not let the "fire" signal go through to the transmitter. I removed it from the transmitter and just taped off the other pins on the transmitter with electrical tape and finished the shoot with no other problems. I would not recommend this product as it does not perform as advertised... VERY disappointed.UPDATE: 10/27/20I received the replacement for this unit from Amazon today and it took only a few days. I took it into the field and hooked it up the same as I did the last unit. I photographed a real estate property using off-camera flash and Flash/Ambient blend technique. The flash fired every time no exceptions. The first unit I returned, worked on 2 different properties for 2 different days, and failed on the third. I will update this after I have used the replacement for a little while longer.

Worked perfectly
We had a Photo Booth that was overheating with the internal flash, so we added this hot shoe adapter to offset the flash and it is working like a charm.
