Kakanuo G8 LED Bulb Dimmable 2.5 Watt Daylight White 6000K AC110-130V Puck Under Cabinet Lights Disc Type Under Counter Kitchen Lighting(Pack of 6)

Ordered 2 sets. One set had a defective one, which the seller very quickly offered a solution which I accepted. Compared to corncob type and other cylindrical leds that I have tried, these fit the BEST and are very bright. I have had the 11 good ones in use for about 12 hours total so far and I am very pleased. It is almost bad to say, but they are almost too bright for my intended use, but the others that I have tried were not bright enough. I hope that in a year, that all are still burning, the other types of LEDs failed too quickly.

The product arrived in excellent condition. Prior to replacing our under-the-cabinet lighting, the lights were very yellow in color and created a lot of heat on the cabinets above. Replacing with the Kakanuo bulbs make a remarkable difference in the brightness, and no heat is generated. The bulbs are easy to install. I am so pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

I purchased a new home that had under cabinet lighting (G8 Style) already installed in the kitchen. The entire kitchen had regular soft white bulbs including the cabinet lights. I swapped everything to Daylight LED until I realized the cabinet lights no longer matched. I ordered these immediately and am thrilled with the final product. For the price, they are an absolute steal. My local lightbulb store and Home Depot only had LEDs for the G8 base in packs of 2, both around $20. They have only been installed for about a week but so far, they perform perfectly. Great color bulb for whites and greys. The only reason for 4 stars is I haven’t been able to give them a lengthy test. Photos are somewhat hard to tell true color but they at least give you a feel for them. Perfect cheap upgrade to lighting!

PROS: They are easy to install and have a very good light and save lots of energy.CONS: I have four bulbs in my cabinets and in the two years since I bought this 6 pack, 4 of the bulbs have stopped working. The two remaining bulbs were installed to replace bulbs that failed, so no doubt they'll fail fairly soon as well.

Bought LED G8 replacement bulbs at Lowes and Home depot, but the bulb shape was to big to fit the puck light fixture. Then I stumbled into these. Little did I know, you had to search for G8 LED puck lights. Absolutely perfect.... no.... no.... better. Got to keep the existing halogen light puck fixtures under the kitchen cabinet, and then installed these LED puck light bulbs. Now even brighter, more brilliant colors and I don't have to change the halogen light bulbs that burned out in less than a year. I'm doing cartwheels of joy and the Snoopy happy dance. I give this purchase 5 happy faces :) :) :) :) :)

Less than a year and 4 of them are dead. Not 4 individual LEDs but 4 of the light units. That's not right - LEDs are solid-state devices and should last for many years. Also, they say they are dimmable but that is a lie because they flicker on low setting. It is completely unacceptable.

The Good: These arrived quickly all 5 that I installed as under counter in the kitchen worked (haven't tried the 6th). The color temp is accurate; they're very "white" and that's what I wanted. They're also very bright and never get too hot to touch, they barely get warm.The Bad: When two or more of these are turned on in close proximity they exhibit a very noticeable flicker. I have a 10" fixture that can hold three of these lamps, but I have to turn two of the 3 lamps off or the flicker is annoying to the point of distraction. My somewhat educated guess is that the switching power supply in the LED driver needs to operate at twice whatever freq is currently being used.That said, three of these lamps put out more light and less heat than 5 of the halogens I was using previously. These are good lights as long as you keep 2 feet between them.

I bought these to replace the light bulbs in my puck style under cabinet lights. The original bulbs that came with the lights, are the halogen type two prong G8 bulbs that get very hot. I had a bulb that burned out, and since I bought these puck lights years ago, and had no problems with them, I didn’t want to replace them. I found these LED bulbs, which I prefer anyway, and figured I would give them a try. They don’t get really hot, like the original halogen bulbs, and they are a lot less wattage also. I do not have a dimmer on my lights, and I also don’t notice any flickering, like some of the reviews I have read. These are dimmable bulbs, but since I don’t have a dimmer on my lights, I can’t say that they flicker due to a dimmer.I am hoping to get many, many years out of them they work great and are flicker free for me.
