Incredible
This book was so good. I read it before giving to my 10 year old and I found it informative, comprehensive, and age appropriate. It will answer questions for her for years to come, and be a guide for any questions she has for me. The topics weren’t new for us, so nothing shocking, just very informative. I gave her the option to take it to her room and read it when she was ready, but she chose to read it aloud together.

Excellent, fun, educational read. An eye opener.
I am so thankful this book exists. It will help the lives of the young women it touches. As a child of the seventies, there is so much in this book I had to learn via painful life lessons or whispered theories among my friends. This book addresses a wide range of critical body understanding and self care topics for young woman in a way that is accessible, understandable and easily readable. It is clear and completely honest without being intimidating. The illustrations are a big part of the accessibility of the information in this book; they are accurate but comfortable. This book will be an important resource for my daughter when she starts approaching puberty to understand her body. A must have set of knowledge for young women.

Excellent Teaching Tool for Young Girls!
I am a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and certified Family Planning Health Worker (FPHW). I first heard about this book through Instagram and reserved my copy right away. I just got done reading it and I think it’s amazing! I will be handing the book off to my 11-year-old daughter today. The book is very inclusive, showing examples of girls of all different sizes and colors. Dr. Rodgers uses the correct scientific names for everything related to the female body. The book covers everything from female anatomy, to sex and birthing, to self care, consent, and staying safe. This book will make a wonderful teaching tool for anyone who isn’t very comfortable having those hard conversations with their daughters, or for young girls, who aren’t comfortable asking the adults they know the common questions about their bodies and puberty.

Incredible, diverse, educational, real talk
My girls love this book. It's got actual drawings of body parts and talks about how they can look all different ways. It talks about some things some parents won't like like how to hold a mirror to look at your vagina and a page on masturbation. I also like to just bring it on trips and leave it on someone's table. Lol great conversation piece for moms too!

All the stars for this book!
First, it's a sturdy book that feels good in your hands. It's beautiful illustrated. Very well written, easy to discuss with my tween. I love the title. I love talking about all of this with my girl and making it normal, not taboo. All the praise for this book!!!
