Orpaz C-Series 1911 Holster Compatible with 1911 OWB Holster - Unisex - Will Secure Your Handgun with a Tactical Appearance

I was searching for a paddle holster that would fit my 1911 with a lower rail. This one fits great! I did read questions before I bought it. Apparently, if your rail doesn’t extend past the sides of the slide, it should work. This makes the weight of that 1911 disappear! Great for all day open carry. The CON of this unit is the thumb release. It works flawlessly but in a quick draw situation it causes a delay in drawing the weapon. As anyone who owns a 1911 knows, the safety is very conveniently operated with your thumb. With the thumb release in the holster, your thumb ends up in the wrong position for a quick deployment. You have to push the thumb release on the holster and start to draw the weapon, then reposition you thumb under the safety to disengage it. A fore finger release would be more ideal for the 1911. As part of the draw on the 1911 is getting a firm grip on the grip safety before deploying the weapon. I may find a work around, but likely keep searching for a finger released holster. I live in lion country with plenty of wild dog packs. This weapon has truely been used for self defense here and I need a smooth draw.

Wow. I was so impressed with the quality and features for the money, I bought another one for my Glock to replace my long serving Safariland setup. I had no idea this company existed. I stumbled across it on Amazon, and thought I'd take a chance because of the low price.The features and flexibility of the modular construction is really impressive; you can wear this one on your belt high or low, and there are holes for either a "civilian" belt or a wide, double-layer competition belt. You can adjust the angle infinitely. You can purchase a paddle to wear this tucked into your pants, or purchase a backing for Molle attachment to your PC or whatever. And all of this for, like, half the price of the major brands touted by all the usual gun reviewers and channels on YouTube.Both my 1911 and my Glock fit perfectly, retain snugly, and release without a hitch. The only thing I don't like is that the thumb release tab needs to get pushed straight down (as opposed to getting pushed back), which is slightly less of a natural movement when lifting the gun up and out of the holster.

this appears to be a very sturdy holster and it hangs perfectly even with my hand. The lock is solid also. I wish it came in a left handed version

I bought this hoping it would fit my Elite Force 1911 Tac Gen. 3 (airsoft pistol). To my surprise it fit wonderfully. Locked in place and pistol is snug but not too tight that it is scratching anything up. I like how you could mod it for a drop leg option with belt loops on the sides and top. If you buy the low ride, you can also use the bottom two belt straps to make it like a standard. I found that the low ride is just the right length for me- it isn't too far down that you have to bend over like a drop leg and it isn't uncomfortably too high that you have to awkwardly bend your elbow to grip the pistol. The thumb button is smooth and I love it. My only complaint is that if you use it for airsoft, it may be uncomfortable to run with it because it hits my hip bone with each stride. I am either going to try to secure it more to my leg or add some padding. This is a solvable issue and will not apply to someone open carrying a real side arm- they usually aren't running. Highly recommend.

I thought this product was a little too good to be true because of the price but honestly, it is wonderful. My 1911 locks into place with ease. gravity itself is enough to lock the gun into the holster. Also when the pistol is in the holster it stays there. I've shaken the crap out of it upside down and accidentally dropped it a couple times and it never came out. The thumb release is also crisp and responsive. The only downside to this product is you have to buy separately the leg holster attachment but I managed to make it work with an old one I had. I would highly recommend someone who wants a thumb release 1911 holster for airsoft or range training. Very good product.

This holster works great with my 1911s in both 5" & 3.3" barrels, but DOES NOT WORK with a Kimber KHX 1911 with a Holosun 507C "red dot"; the red dot does not allow the firearm to fully seat in the holster and engage the locking device. Disappointing as I was looking forward to using this holster for the KHX 1911.

This is one of the first holsters I have been able to find that fits my Para Ordnance 14.45 Black Ops. Fits like a glove and the retention works perfectly.UPDATE:After a few weeks of use, my rating remains at 5 stars.First note is that my 1911 is a double-stack, and this holster fits it perfectly. There is zero wiggle when it is in the holster and it isn't too tight either.The thumb retention is perfectly placed (for me at least). It is smooth and easy. After a few practice draws, I don't even think about it and my draw is just as quick as drawing from a holster without the thumb retention.I love the fact that it is a modular system and that you can buy various attachments for it. My advice is to spend a little time researching to figure out how you want to wear it. As a result of not doing that research before hand, I now have the Molle attachment, the belt attachment, the paddle attachment as well as the low-ride (which is the one I used).

Bought this in hopes to find a holster for my RIA TAC Ultra FS and after months of searching and unable to find a full size 1911 holster that accepts a full length rail I pulled the trigger with a 50/50 chance of it fitting according to the questions section. It fits perfectly! The quality is up to par with other big box brands and their QR system works great. Couldn’t recommend this enough for anyone with a 5” 1911 that has a full rail, the barrel sticks out the bottom so it easily fits with compensators too.

Perfekt passend für meinen 1911er.Hängt angenehm am Gürtel und ist super verarbeitet.Der normale Halter für die Gürtelmontage also ohne "lowride" ist auch dabei.Alles stabil und gut verschraubbar per Inbusschlüssel.Das einzig negative sind die Zoll/Einfuhrgebühren die sich auf 14,20€ belaufen.Da hätte Amazon mal drauf hinweisen können.Mir war das vorher nicht ersichtlich das der Holster direkt aus den USA kommt.Aber wie gesagt,der Holster absolut empfehlenswert und super schick!!!Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Fits my 1911 perfectly. I ordered the MOLLE attachment for it, but it came with a paddle instead. They shipped out the attachment right away, no questions. Great customer service.Thumb release is comfortable and adapter fits my molle belt well. Well worth the wait.

My 1911 fit perfect in it. Hold the gun well even if I run. Make minor scratch on the slide, not an issue for me since I use it for CQB so the pistol will be scratch anyway.
