The Spice Way Ras El Hanout 4 oz Moroccan Meat Spice Blend Salt Free

I love this North African spice blend and the flavors it brings to the table. Bold and warming flavors. No heat, just deep, rich flavor. Love that it’s salt free and I’m just paying for the good spices with no cheap filler. When I’m bored with the same old, same old, I have enjoyed Spiceway’s Ras El Hanout with chicken thighs; beefsteak strips, and even in a ground turkey & sweet potato one-skillet meal. I enjoy experimenting with it. Read the ingredient label; taste the spice blend straight; gather your imagination, then cook away. The 4 oz. package is good value for my dollar too.

We love this spice! It goes so well on almost any type of meat. If you like middle Eastern flavors, you will like this!

UPDATE: This was a rush to judgement on my part and I apologize. After floating some of the blend in clear water and checking for grit/sand I found none. Although I have no idea where grit would have come from (other components were all washed and not the type that hold grit).The spice blend was good and it seemed fresh enough but my bag is full of sand. Ive used it in a couple of recipes and couldnt figure out where the grit was coming from, thought maybe I forgot to wash some veges or something. Other than that good product but nobody likes sand in their food.

I was so happy to find these spices. Years ago (80s/90s) we frequented Paymon's in Las Vegas and loved all their food, but especially their Athen's 'fries. So good, and so many spices. I used to play around with our waiter on a slow mid day and try to guess the spices they used. It was fun but I really also wanted to know, so after a while when my daughter moved on, we didn't go there as often, I bought individual spices and tried to emulate those flavors, but although good, they were never quite right So when i came across Paymon's Athen's fries spices for sale, I had to check the ingredients list to see what I was missing. Most of those listed, I had guessed correctly, but after the last spice listed, it said something like, "and our favorite various spice mix", so, just for giggles and grins,i googled all the spices I knew were in it and let the AI work for me and Ras El Hanout blend came up.There are several versions and brands, but I really like this brand and trust them. This is if not the exact formula, it is definitely the closest i've ever come, and worth ever penny. I won't even admit what I paid for all those individual spices over the years over and over again, so if you love Greek food like we do, mix these spices with your typical Greek spices, sprinkle some on your next batch of French fries, mix up a little fry sauce with a drop or two of your favorite hot sauce included...Absolutely to die for. No need to applaud or thank me, just send money.

Please read the ingredient list. I had bought Ras el hanout from a different vendor before and liked it. This mix has cinnamon as the main ingredient. Wouldn't have bought it if I had known. Cinnamon is fine but not as the main ingredient.

This seasoning is so delicious and convenient to season chicken with! My husband and I love it!!! Great depth of flavors

This space blend is a great value for the price. It has great smell indicating fresh spices and it is not spicy hot, the spice is more of a flavor profile. It can be used in many dishes but it is very common in Moroccan and mediterranean dishes.
