A Dictionary of Forensic Science (Oxford Quick Reference)

My girlfriend (a forensics graduate student) and myself (BS in forensics) love this book. It is an excellent book for anyone who is interested in forensics, studying forensics, or just want to have a handy guide with forensics lingo. There's a large wealth of knowledge in this book - since this book is relatively new I'm not sure many professors out there know about it, but it's a huge advantage to own this if you're pursuing a career in forensics, or are trying to keep current in the field.

I bought this book to assist my sister and I in writing our first novel, a murder mystery. It has been a most helpful research item.

The Forensic Dictionary is well written and easy to use and understand. This is critically important for a nontechnical writer such as myself when using the book as a reference. It has already enhanced the accuracy of my stories and furthered my personal knowledge. I recommend the mystery:  Nightmares of Reality

I would love to comment, but I bought this for a boy who is being tutored by me. I don't know how he found it. He just said it was alright. He's only sixteen at that age everything is just 'alright.'

Bought this book in preperation for going to Uni, it has all the words I may need when studying forensic science. A lot of the words are american based or spelled the american way, which threw me as its the Oxford dictionary, but aside from that, its not too bad!Its something I will use a lot.

Arrived with corners a bit damaged but the book overall is very useful for my forensic science degree.

this book looks amazing,full of useful facts and information. my daughter bought this book for a forensic science course at uni & it seems to cover so much. really glad it is already providing her with help,hopefully it will explain all of the terms that she will be using.
