I'm a Beginner into handstands, THIS BOOK IS WORTH THE PURCHASE
I found Coach Elia on IG a few months back most of his stories, post and free tutorials were enough to make me want to learn under him but money is a big issue for the country I live.Thats when I saw in his multiple post regarding handstand that he wrote a book, Balance Your Handstand: The Complete Playbook. I was anxious because I wanted to learn more but couldnt afford to pay online tutoring and after thinking it and watching his multiple youtube videos I took a decision that I would purchase this book and to hell with regrets.Book arrived and the Pros are a lot so i will go with the few I WISH it had:WISH: I wish each Exercise and or Drill had like a QR code or Like a playlist on his youtube channel to link directly to the drill in motion, THATS it nothing else is negative.Pros: This book is really detailed and step by step approach, I really enjoyed going thru it although im not much of a reader and it does explain the why and importance of developing contraction instincts in the in the handstand.Every bit of muscle involvement and position is addressed and the exercises are easy to understand, the serratus anterior is one of my favorite muscles in the body to sort of show of with a good abdominal region and i always struggled with scap push ups to just feel them a bit and i get bored super fast. Page 21 of this book and i finally understood how to engage them 100% of the time.It was introductory and i was already learning something new I wish I had (I exercise regularly so I like to know how to properly engage muscles at any exercise).The book is well written in a simple manner and every bit that may seem complicated is explained right away. I dont yet have a Freestanding handstand but some of the drills plus being conscious about where to activate my muscles specially the HIPS has been a major game changer to manage to get some decent seconds of balance from the wall.I highly recommend this book, for all the guidance it provides and its last section about how to program your handstand sessions is pure gold. Chef's Kiss.I'm from the Dominican Republic and here we do have people who dabble into handstands but if we want someone with deep knowledge we and understanding of this skill, that someone, whoever it is, won't be found living here.If you want to get serious about handstand and don't know where to start, do yourself a favor and get this book. If you dont have a mentor and cant afford one either or even if you have one, Still ADD this one to your library, it will open your mind or reassure your path into the world of this skill.Thanks for taking the time to read all of this.

Excellent handstand book
Excellent book, lot of technical details on handstand practice and alignment. No equivalent, highly recommend.
