EXCELLENT INSTRUMENT
It's an excellent keyboard and I'd highly recommend it. A photo is attached (you don't get a laptop, I've just hooked it up to a spare laptop I have to use the keyboard's MIDI function on music software I have on that laptop because you can do that as well, it's very versatile). Excellent sound quality from the inbuilt speakers and of course you can also hook up headphones for privacy or a PA system or, for example, a mixer or guitar amplifier that has an Aux socket, so really really good and I'm really glad I bought it.

Excellent for learning, adult refresh or kid's first and lots of room to grow
The only thing that is a bit of a down is the keys don't feel lie a real piano, but those correctly are the nicer Yamaha and Roland options from $500 to thousands. Even a $3,000 Korg has 61 keys that feel pretty much like the keys on this one, just spring resistance with velocity response (No hammer action feel and definitely not graded (bass is harder to push and treble is lighter touch on nice pianos). This only matters if you plan to learn and take your learning to a real piano so the feel of the keys is learned and the physical feedback of the lower registers shakes the room. This keyboard has Excellent sound with the built in speakers, and they produce bass that can be felt in the keys, but not the hammer action feel.Highly recommend, the scale on LCD display as well as the chord leaning/coach modes are hidden gems, as well as the sample sound you can pitch up or down. Not a lot covered in the manual but this keyboard packs a huge variety of options, it may not sound or feel like a piano, but for messing around for ideas with something you can carry with you that runs on AA batteries, this is my #1 Suggestion. Excellent noise, the missing 2 octaves can be "moved" in options to shift all the keys to be the lower octave of a real piano or the upper 61 keys by going up or down an octave. It records your performances to SD card and works flawlessly with Digital Audio Workstations. I like the Cakewalk software and Waveform options for free and just recording. Excellent price, amazing price and packed with features. Learning or refreshing or just wanting to mess around a bit to have a midi input keyboard for some project, this can't be beat. The Akai in the same price range have tiny keys where an adult can't push just one easily if actually playing, those are more for control inputs for a DAW on the computer instead of being able to play standalone. Those keys are annoying, the keys on this one are the same size as all the pianos and pro keyboards so way easier to control what keys are hit and the velocity sensitivity can be increased or decreased to determine how sensitive it is. Like I said, tons of features.

Good keyboard For The Family and Good Price
The Alesis Harmony 61 Pro is a good keyboard for the money. This keyboard is good for kids and adult to play. The 580 sounds are clean and clear with good reverb and other effects to add nice ambience. The keys are spring loaded, also called synth weighted (No Hammer/Weighted Action) but the feel is very good with velocity touch response. There are plenty of Song styles to choose from with Intros/Endings, fills A and B, fade In/Out and Synchronized Start features. The features are good and what you would expect in a keyboard of this type. The Mix feature gives you five parts per song and you an also turn on/of the six instruments used in each song, which can be fun to play around with. You have 177 songs in the Song Bank to choose from and you can also do basic recording of you playing performance and store your songs in five user locations in User Song Banks 178-182. Thee is no song editing of your recorded songs but you can save your songs to an SD Card (128Gb max capacity) and edit the Midi song files in your computer DAW/Sequencer software. The SD Card also allows you to record your performances as audio files which is handy if you are using the mic input on the keyboard to sing along with your playing. There are also Lesson modes that help you practice with your right and left hand, also timing and note memorization. The USB-B port lets you connect to your computer and use the Alesis Harmony 61 Pro as a Midi controller. Over all I give the Alesis Harmony 61 Pro 5 stars. The only things I found that need improvements is the keyboard cabinet makes some vibration noise when bass notes are played. Also sometimes when exiting the Record Mode you may have to press the Styles button and then the Sound button to totally get out of the Song Mode. The Alesis Harmony 61 Pro is a better keyboard than many of the No/Lo Name Brand keyboards. This keyboard is in he same league as the Casio and Yamaha lower priced keyboard range. 5 Star.
