Q: What is the purpose of the magnetic insert? why would i use the plastic insert rather than the magnetic one? does the magnetic insert prevent magsafe

This is the best most durable protective phone case on the market in my opinion. So the difference is the magnet insert allows you to stick your phone on a metal surface with the magnet insert in. For example while I’m at work in my cubicle I have my iPhone attached to a metal surface of my cubicle while I’m working. You can’t use the magnet insert while having your phone charging on an Apple MagSafe charging station. That can mess up your charging dock station. You have to use the plastic insert when charging on a MagSafe charger.

Q: Does this fit the iphone 14 plus?

Yes, but the camera hole is made for the pro max. It is slightly bigger than the 14 Plus camera, it still protects the lens well.

Q: Does it have a dust port cover?

No, all the ports are exposed open however it’s super easy to get it cleaned. You rarely even have to.

Q: Any tips on how to remove this case? My fingers are red and raw after many attempts of trying to get it off for over an hour..

It’s very difficult to remove the case. When trying to remove the case it feels as though either the case or the one is going to break because you have to apply so much pressure.
