Emilie is in London to be with her best friend as she marries the love of her life. But it is so loud at the reception that she steps into a lounge with a bar that's not far from the party. Wearing a gorgeous red gown, she sits at the bar alone and orders a drink. Not long after that a very handsome man sits beside her and offers to buy her a drink. He asks her why she's alone with the wedding party just next door. Emilie tells him her date didn't travel from New York to be with her. The man says his name is Ezra and would love to spend some time with her. So she invites him to her room where they spend an incredible night together. But when Emilie wakes up, Ezra is gone. But he left a short note saying he had to leave right away for a work emergency. He also never gave his last name or where he was from.After working as a waitress for the past few months, Emilie finally has found a job that pays well and let her use some of her art training for her new position. She is just getting acquainted with her surroundings when she hears a couple men talking as they come closer. She is shocked when she finds out one is Ezra and that he is actually the billionaire owner and CEO of the company she just started at.Ezra is just as surprised. He never knew her last name so he couldn't search for her, but never forgot her either. Now he knows who she is, and can't wait to see if they can rekindle what they found that night in London.So good! Tons of suspense too! These two go through so much and you wonder if they will get their happy ending. Must read for sure. Enjoy

Emilie and Ezra travel a rocky road beginning with a chance meeting in London and passionate night together.When they cross paths 6 months later, Ezra seems as intent on wooing Emilie as she seems to be finding reasons they shouldn’t be together.But all is not smooth sailing in Ezra’s world and the suspense in tribute in the story make for an enjoyable page turner not only for Ezra’s romantic gestures.I like the book and characters. The interwoven story elements were good. The dialogue was smooth. I found other parts of the narrative to be a little stiff, however. Where the romance was smooth, the moving the other parts of the story forward lacked the same finesse. It wouldn’t stop me from enjoying this story again.

The storyline was ok. A lot of contradictory parts that just made you roll your eyes. As a reader, the format is terrible. The book is too wide to hold single handed and was just awkward in your hands. There is also no indentations on the pages. The words run into the center of the book and you practically have to fold it in half to continue reading the sentences. The font size also seems much smaller. It was a difficult read (physically). I wouldn’t recommend this book or author if they’re all published this way.

This book was a great book to read... It started a great read... than a few chapters was slow than it got really great read... I recommend this book for a nice suspence book

I absolutely loved this book. It has mystery and romance! I enjoyed getting to know Mr. Hudson and I can’t wait to read book 2 of the series!

This wasn't A bad book to read, just so long for the author to tell a story. Boring at times, but I finally muddled through it until the end. I realized that she talked throughout this story, she was unsure of her self that's why she had a hard time with her friendship with Ezra. She simply didn't want to give him the time of her day because of what they experienced in London. She found out he was rich and she didn't really like rich people. Hudson owned his own company so she found out that the place she was going to work for was the same man she spent time with when she was in London. Emily was a brat most of the time. Playing Anderson they other guy in the picture. He wanted to smash Ezra business, so he could take over the national and oversee markets. Anderson was the head of the crime family, later introduced to the story. Emily was a artist who wanted to make it big in the art world. Like I said they're so many plots going on in this story it was hard to keep them all straight. Anyways enjoy this story.

Ezra, the male lead was wonderfully romantic. He was a successful man who was sweet and caring. He was a very likeable character. Emilie, the female lead started out well but, quickly went downhill. She ended up judgemental, prejudice, jealous and most unfortunately stupid. She shamed Ezra because of her own insecurities which caused him to question every move he made. Not a good look. She was so bad that I was hoping something would happen to her so Ezra would find someone else and get his HEA with a better human being than Emilie.

Ezra and Emilie start off in such a hot but cute way but things go very south through the story.Emilie is and independent women, she knows what she wants but doesn’t have a concrete plan to make it work until she lands a job. When she finds out that Ezra, the man she had a one night stand is the ceo of the company she now works for. There’s a lot of push and pull a lot of miscommunication or I might just say no communication at all that I feel so much pain for Ezra.This was a quick read and a okay one. I don’t really like the no communication based on her age, and I feel like the push lasted so long and in a wrong way but after she makes a decision that she was pushing off it kinda picks back up and pretty quick and we get a pretty awesome ending ! In the end I love the fact that she opens here eyes and decided to have the best of both worlds.

Love reading new Authors. When attending the friends wedding in London, being stood up by her plus one and getting drunk on vodka. Emilie DeGaule thought the universe was against her until a stranger sat beside her. One night passion and waking up alone the next morning she knew she will always have London and Ezra.Ezra Hudson never forgot about London and when that one person he still thought about happens to start working at his company six months later he knew he had a second chance. Will his enemies take this infatuation he has for Emilie to gain what they need from him.I lived this story and hope you all do to.

I loved the story and the way it was presented. It was so easy to read and suck you in right from page 1

Little bit slow in places. I wouldn't say I couldn't put it down, at least not until the last quarter. That was a bit more exciting. But I will say I am unequivocally, madly in love with the fictional Ezra Hudson. So lovely to read about a man who is kind and gentle but still masculine and strong. Wish there were guys like him in real life.

Looking forward to book two now

Emilie meets Ezra at a wedding when her date didnt turn up. They have a night that both of them remembers only he had to leave her after taking an urgent call. Back in the USA Emilie gets a new job as a graphics designer only to find her one night stand is the boss. Ezra is so happy to see her he makes a decision to pursue her. Didnt quite get why he didnt ring his friend and get her number and the same with her. She gets an opportunity to show some of her work in an art gallery when a rival of Ezra's buy a piece of work. There is danger to come and Ezra needs to save Emilie. HIs alpha status didnt quite work, the little notes he left on her desk were a bit immature for the big boss.
