I have only tried the one fitting yet, but I can see the flow is steady and it works. This is a great way to aerate and keep the water fresh. I don't have it turned up all the way, but I would imagine that it would be more impressive with another fitting with more power too. I'd like to get another extension and something to help weigh down the pump and keep it level. All in all, so far it is doing what it wants. ** a side note... I had ordered from this company before and had a solar panel that wasn't putting out what I thought it should. No problems, they sent out a new perfect unit right away. So the company is a reliable company with good customer service from what I can tell.

This is not for a pond. It woud work good in a fountain or small Koi pond/puddle. When the sun is not hitting the panel it comes out in a small stream or nothing at all

I was really excited to get this Sun Energise 20W Solar Water Pump Fountain because we finally have our pond fish in a 100 gallon outdoor stock tank (from a 29 gallon tank). We don't have outdoor outlets so I thought that having a solar panel powered pump would be perfect.We set it up on the end of the house where it would get 8-10 hours of direct sunlight and had great results in the few seconds it took to connect it to the panel....but....when my husband stepped in front of the panel, creating a shadow on less than a 1/4 of the panel, the pump stopped working. Even having the handle of the shovel go in front of the panel made it stop working.From the description: "direct sunlight (NO battery backup), the flow of water is depends on the sunlight intensity".I was expecting SOME pump action with daylight hours, but there is nothing.Guess I need to go with something more substantial, ie: more expensive.Update:In several messages from seller, this is the explanation for the panel not working well:"All the cells are connected in series, so if you block one of them, the current will get stuck and not pass through. If a little bit is blocked, the current will drop dramatically.It happens to all the solar product. Small power solar panel of this problem will be more obvious.Here, I am writing to see if you are willing to give us any chance to make it right.It is our responsibility to make sure the unit you received works without any issue, in this case, we would like to offer you one brand new replacement FOR FREE or 100% full refund."This is the response I received when I asked for a refund:"We are so happy that you can give us a chance to make it right.I hope our consistant service could conpensate you much.Will it possible for you to share a nice experience and light up all stars if we issue the money for you.PLS reply the message ASAP. If yes, we will issue the money at the first time."These sellers are trying to buy a 5 start review. If I change my review to 5 stars they will refund 100%.No thanks....

It's really great and super powerful. The only drawback is that it doesn't store solar power, so if a cloud passes by or even if you stand in front of the solar panel, the fountain won't work. This is something to keep in mind if you need a consistent water pump.
