Subtle color and great top coat
This is two coats of the pink and one top coat. I already had it on for 4 days. I like that the top makes the nail polish dry quicker. Since it’s regular nail polish, it does take a while to dry so I put it on before I sleep and it works great. The nail polish doesn’t chip for me but the tip of my nails always loses color fast. I do wash a lot of things and use my hands a lot so it’s pretty good for it not being real gel. Removing the nail polish is so easy as well. I do have to redo the nails weekly otherwise it gets dull and can crack and chip.

Excellent gift idea
I’ve been using Essie gel for a few years. I bought this set to be a part of a manicure gift I was putting together for my Aunt. She loved it too!

Inside scoop is very sheer!!
Ok first off, I LOVE the formula of the polish itself, both the base and top coat dry very quickly and the top coat really does give the texture of the nails a gel-like consistency. The color that I got was 144 inside scoop, which is definitely very sheer. My only issue with it was that it went on very thin and a bit streaky with just the two coats. I’ve seen a lot of people doing 3 coats instead, which I plan to try. Overall a really nice formula and honestly worth the money, but I’d recommend going for a darker color since lighter ones are generally more streaky anyways.
