Generic New Keyboard for HP G72 Laptop Computers
This replaced the original keyboard as several keys quit working. It's easy to install and works extremely well.

Keyboard was great!
Worked just fine,,,, until a 3 year old kid,,,, not mine. Got a hold of and pried keys off.

Keyboard works well with some minor issues
The replacement keyboard seems to work well in general. The key action feels pretty much the same as the original keyboard on my Hewlett Packard G72-B60US laptop.The layout is pretty much the same except some keys (the left and right "enter" keys are not the same size and shape as the original laptop keyboard. This is taking time to adjust to and after a few weeks I am still adjusting.Also, the double quote key is actually labeled as the colon key. (There are two keys that show the colon.) You just have to learn which is which.

European, not US layout
Fits and functions fine, but appears to be a European layout, rather than US, that has taken some getting used to because of smaller Return, Left Shift and Forward Slash keys. Also, Caps Lock and Num Lock lamps do not perfectly line up and so only shine through dimly.

The keyboard was easy to replace!

The left side return key is much smaller than the ...
The left side return key is much smaller than the original HP keyboard which makes for many typos. One key popped off after one month. Had I know the enter key was in such an odd place I would not have ordered.
