I am not normally this motivated to write a product review but after a few long drives with this on my van dashboard I am honestly so satisfied with this purchase. I've been through many many phone holders on various vehicles and they all ultimately failed to hold my very chunky rugged smartphones in a position where it was safe and comfortable to drive. This standout piece of silicone took me about 2 minutes to fix on my dash and put my phone in the most perfect place I could possibly imagine having it, something no other phone holder has been able to do. It's just over my steering wheel slightly to the side towards the center of the vehicle, basically the best possible position to be in my line of sight without taking my eyes off the road, while also not obscuring any part of the windscreen. The design gives just enough grip for the phone to sit there snugly without *any* mechanisms, screws, clamps or magnets, all of which systems I have tried before and which unfortunately all give way to entropy eventually and stop being able to do their job. Simplicity is best, this is a really impressive design. My current phone is a Cat S62, it's a weighty and thick phone, a lot of mount systems are just too flimsy for phones like this. Previous favourite was a magnet system with a suction cup that glued to the windscreen, unfortunately the hot weather made a mess of the suction cup's adhesive. Of course I won't find out until next year but I feel like the way this sticks to the dash it'll be there forever, the silicone will be enough of a barrier to the heat that hopefully it will stay in place once things heat up ... if not I'll just go ahead and buy some stronger glue because I don't want this thing to go anywhere. The fact that this is just a moulded piece of silicone is great, there are no parts here that can break, the only possible problem could be long-term wear, but hardly any force is needed to pop the phone in and out of the grips so realistically this should keep working for years. I only dropped 1 star in the "suction power" category because the first couple of times I put the phone in the grip it kind of popped out again slowly, I'm thinking this was just a "wearing in" thing, but I'm not convinced that in very extreme braking or turning scenarios it wouldn't possibly just pop out again. The little slots for the charging cable are great too, overall it's an extremely neat setup. Due to the orientation of the phone and me being in a right-hand drive van, the charging port is kind of the wrong way around and the cable has to double back on itself, normally resulting in damaged connectors and damaged port on the phone. This little cable tidy feature solves that beautifully making the cable neat and taking pressure off the charge port. Unfortunately I don't have a secondary camera to photograph my setup but do take my word for it, one of the best vehicle upgrades I've ever had.

Absolutely love this. I have used this on a old 03 plate ford KA because the dash was so weird and odd shaped. I have used this on an old plate Fiat 500 because the dash was too small to fit anything in I liked. It's definitely perfect for small and weird shaped dashboards. Great value for money. Easy to use. I did super glue mine into my old KA. Just because sometimes it would unpeel when the car became too hot. So the adhesive wouldn't always stay still in hot weather. But it was a banger of a car so if you don't care about your dash. Super glue all the way. Lol.. But all in all the stickiness is fav and works well on many cars I've had. Movement doesn't budge when on a later surface but perfect to mould across all cars.
