Everything That I Was Looking For
I love this pitcher. It does not take as long as the other reviews were reporting. I donโt know if maybe they set it up wrong(instructions are easy to follow) or had a defective one, but overall Iโve had a pleasant experience. It takes a bit longer to filter than a britta yes, like 5 minutes, but itโs also filtering way more stuff. The water tastes great, and I feel better knowing itโs taking more out than just the chlorine flavor. The removable silicone bottom is a nice design touch. One thing that I will say, it is tall, so it may not fit in all refrigerators.

Super clean water ( NO MICROPLASTICS) Easy to use LIFE STRAW PITCHER
I learned about Micro plastics being in like everything. Bottled water household water. This pitcher filters out Microplastics and other stuff that is in most water (Including Plastic bottled water) It scared me at first because the reviews said it was very slow to process the water.... And It was till I did the filter prep to prepare it for clean water. Now it's pretty fast I fill it and go about some other business Then come back and fill it again. (I have several glass pitchers that when the Life Straw pitcher is full I fill the other glass pitchers and put THEM in the fridge. I keep the Life straw on the counter and process several gallons of fresh clean water a day. (Think of the Life Straw pitcher like a distillery not a serving pitcher) Fill glass simple pitchers or glass bottles and again put them in the fridge. Also I keep a room temp glass pitcher next to the Life Straw and use it to refill my Keurig coffee maker. Great clean coffee and Super simple and I'm not drinking toxic plastics and chemicals in my water. Tastes great too!!! Five Star *****

THE BEST TASTING WATER - Pls redesign the flippy top
This is the best tasting water! Yes, it can filter a bit more slowly than with other brands, but that may have to do with the quantity of solids and microplastics that must be removed from your water. Because I have filters left over from another brand and didn't want to waste them, I decided to pre-filter my water and then pour it through. This not only makes the water seem to flow through the filter faster, but likely extends the life of the small filter that is supposed to be replaced every other month. My only complaint is that I have to manually hold open the little round flippy top while filling the pitcher. Otherwise, water can spill on the counter (I don't fill it from the sink) or unfiltered water can splash into the spout, contaminating the filtered water. Please consider a slight redesign, perhaps making the flippy top slightly larger and oval, not round, to solve this issue.

Pitcher breaks when trying to change filter!
I purchased this sometime ago. It seemed to work fine and filtered the water well. However when it came time to change the Main membrane filter that goes up into the tube in the center, the entire tube broke. Iโve changed the bottom filter before and itโs simple because you simply screw off the bottom of the tube and slide a new one in. But when it comes time to change the membrane filter, after a while it is completely wedged up into the tube. The tube is very narrow. Even a pair of needle nose pliers could not pull the membrane filter out. In the process, the thin plastic bottom of the tube completely shattered, making the picture completely useless. I will not be buying this again. Was going to call the company to see if they could do anything about it, but they do not even offer a phone number for customer service โ you can only email Mail.

Fills a 12 Cup Coffee Maker Reservoir
With concerns about microplastics and PFAS in my tap water -- and not being able to afford a $300+ filtration system -- I ordered this. First, there are similar items on the market (but that don't filter as much) -- made of plastic. The main water compartment here is glass -- love it. Second, it's stylish and beautiful whether in the frig or on the counter. You could even put this out on the table with pride when you have company. (I ordered the Stormy Blue model.) Now for the hiccups... It doesn't process water all that fast. I had a Zero water pitcher before -- cheaper, faster -- but I don't use it anymore because this Life Straw model filters out more and better. I honestly don't mind the slow processing of my tap water when the quality, certifications, and reviews say this is the best you can buy in a pitcher water container. Having to pay more attention to refilling the tap water reservoir more often is a small inconvenience, considering the benefits. Also, Life Straw claims it's a 7 cup pitcher. This was a bit concerning for me, because my coffee maker holds 12 cups. Surprise, surprise. This "7 cup" pitcher filled up my coffee maker "12 cup" reservoir. I was ecstatic... I have no idea why they claim it's only a 7 cup pitcher. Overall, I'm very pleased and am considering giving this to family for the holidays.

Refill too slow
Filtration is too slow. Was considering installing a drip irrigation system to refill the carafe. As another user noted, the water still sits next to plastic while in the carafe. Water tasted fine but not Evian water fine in my opinion. Will be returning.

Good product that works as advertised
It works. My tap water went from an unpleasant bitter taste to the taste of...well nothing, which is how pure water should taste. I like how the pitcher is made of glass, too. It doesn't hold a lot of water so you'll be refilling it often, but it's a nice alternative to installing a whole purifier system under the sink.

Very pleased with this sturdy jug
Very pleased with this double filter system that removes microplastics in addition to harmful chemicals and microbes. Nice tasting water too! A good option for those who donโt want or donโt have space for an under sink RO filter system.

Good filter - Only glass pitcher that filters PFAs and PFOAs
Pitcher with filter is very good. It doesn't take that long to filter the water like the other reviews say. I would estimate it filters all the water you add within 5 minutes for sure but I haven't timed it. Maybe the pre-filter reservoir is on the small side so you do have to add water a number of times before the pitcher is actually full. Its perfectly fine for a couple of people. Maybe a different story if you are using this one pitcher for an entire family. Also huge plus is that it is the only glass filter I could find that actually filters PFAs and PFOAs which are major contaminants in almost every single water system in the world. Edit: I have timed the fill rate of the pitcher. It takes approximately 37 minutes to fill from empty to full, if you fill as soon as the filter resivoir is able to take more water. It filters 77ml per minute on average and the first 500ml you add is filtered in 4 minutes and 54 seconds. I had to add water to the resivoir 11 times to get it to fill to the top. The filter water resevoir holds a maximum of 500ml of water and the pitcher will hold 1880ml of water (after the filter) in total. I fill it up while I am cooking dinner or cleaning the kitchen since I am already near it.

Excellent upgrade from plastic water pitcher
I recently switched from a plastic water pitcher to this glass filtration vessel, and I'm really happy I did. What really sold me was the quality of the filtration. Many people don't realize that this filter is capable of removing up to 99% of microplastics, along with a wide range of contaminants including herbicides, pesticides, and other unwanted substances. The glass construction is doesn't retain odors like plastic can as well as, it eliminates my concerns about storing water in plastic.( Minus the filter ) The only real drawback is that the vessel can be quite heavy when it's full. However, that's a small tradeoff for the improved filtration and glass design. One thing new users should know is that proper filter preparation is important. Be sure to follow the instructions for soaking and priming the filters before use, I doubled my time when cleaning out the filters and rinsing them underwater. The first five or six fill cycles can be quite slow, which is completely normal. Once the filter is properly soaked the flow rate improves significantly. I usually set mine up for a slow drip in the sink and forget about it while it fills. Overall, if you're looking for a substantial upgrade from a standard plastic pitcher and want cleaner, filtered water, I highly recommend this system. The improved filtration quality is well worth the extra weight and initial setup time.
