I was looking for something fast because I was in a hurry since not having a working vehicle is a pain and this was it, I was able to make sure it fit my modle. The price was also perfect since others charge for the return of the old core but this way I was able to finish and have a working car for returning the broken part at a later date.

This starter fit and installed just like the original (2006 Subaru Outback). So far it has worked perfectly for a month or so. It does seem to crank faster than the OEM starter, too. Will update if there are any problems down the line. So far so good!
