I have received the item ten days ago, and this is the second time drinking it since I needed this much time to recover from the disgusting taste.But fear not, I did not come here to complain, but to give my readers a solution:1- 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar2- 1 mashed garlic clove3- cayenne pepper4- cumin5- freshly squeezed lemon juice(half a lemon)6- 1 scoop of the product7- 16 ounces of hot water8- sea saltEnjoy

I ordered this because I am 66 & do not take hormones. I look at a lot of collagen products before ordering. My skin & hair are very fragile so this was recommended by my aesthetician dermatologist. The taste is bland so I add lemon water also to enhance the taste. I just started drinking this trying to fight my aging in a healthy way.

Ok, so this stuff smells gross. Like ammonia. Do yourself a favor and don't smell it.That aside, it's an awesome product. I'm on the ketogenic diet, and I regularly mix it in with chicken broth and my smoothies. There's no icky taste.

Also agree about the horrible taste and aroma. I tried mixing with a few different types of tea, after trying hot water, and I couldn't drink it. My stomach is not a weak one, at all, but the smell of this was too overpowering to overlook. Salt might have done the trick, but I'm skeptical...

Received item fairly quickly but was disappointed to see it was only half way full. I have purchased other vital protein products and they were always full. Then, I noticed the “fill line” which was in the middle of the container. Why make a container twice the size of the product?Second, there was pretty much no flavor. It won’t do as just something you add to hot water.Unless I see dramatic results, I do not plan on purchasing this again.

With the new crystalline structure it dissolves immediately. It's delicious in soups and the flavor mostly disappears if you want to drink it in coffee or tea for the sake of convenience. My whole family uses this and we believe it is supplying much needed, high quality, organic collagen.--- Update -- I have taken this from 5 to 4 stars, because the last shipment was not crystalline, but powder. The powder takes much longer to dissolve, forming sticky clumps on the spoon and glass. I don't know why the product I received was powder, then crystalline, then powder again on successive orders. I'm ordering more today and just hoping that what I received will be crystalline.
